Indeed,! -- and doesn't need you or me to give a name to it.

And doesn't indeed have nor keep any of your or my concepts,

happiness, enlightenment, names, etc.

The preacher said, 'Vanity of vanities, all is vanity. There is

nothing new under the sun.'

Human conceit and the ongoing projects of the human race ...

Dust blowing through an endless unlocated vista of no name.

boy you sure see a lot of implications in things.

vanity implies volition...

belief implies choice..

toombaru attempts to imply what by this nonsense?

remember (which you can't) there are no things to imply anything.

but of course 'you' cannot use mnemotechnic tricks..

as an illusion 'you' have no memories other than imaginary ones.

it's rather vain to make the above statement as well.

but of course it wasn't your choice to stating it or not.

life's got you by the short hairs toomie.

you could just sit down and have a swell tomato sandwich.

why bother with all this stuff that you have no say about?

but then...you don't have a choice..

and are so bothered to say as much....

so much of the time...

so much...

so often...

so many ways...

the same 'poor is me' and 'poor is the world'...

we're all just victims.

except 'I' (toombaru) understand this......ho ho ho!

are you sure of what the big 'Understanding' is telling you?

of course 'it's' not telling any nobody nothing because they ain't.

and neither is the 'Understanding'.

This IS the UNDERSTANDING.

and despite any perceived volition...

you have no choice..

in belief or in writing what you do.

THIS IS TRUTH.

All is Vanity

by Me

Yes, indeed I exist.

If you don't think so I'll shoot.

You'd better salute.

And give me a smile.

Feeling fine all the while.

Cause it's good I exist.

Let's talk about me.

That will set you free.

All the things that I love.

Like the sky above.

And all that I touch.

They all love me so much.

Sometimes it's me that I hate.

But then I notice I'm great.

So it's you that's the fool.

Pardon my drool.

When I'm not, I'll be missed.

You're not me and you're pissed.

Can't say that I blame you for that.

I'm King Shit; here I shat.

Listen to what I have to say.

You'll be sorry one day.

That you didn't take heed.

Of each golden deed that I done.

I sure had my fun.

But now I'm gone.

Oh well, life's a bitch.

But I did scratch my itch.

apparently so.

but nobody or nothing has any choice.

does 'after' disappear before 'before'?

or after 'after'?

there may be a before, before an after...

but after the after, the before is no more.

and the after is no longer after the before or the after.

after all...tomorrow is another day.

for the dead.

are you proud of this statement?

doesn't identification imply 'remembering'?

at least a remembering of that which is being identified with.

whose memories?

remember..here and now boys!

all is identification.

hence:

identification is vanity.

what's your point?

this seems fairly obvious.

dare to be great!

and try and reply to the whole statement.

not just the last bits

and thereby evading the real issues involved in the discussion.

your method is to start a quick repartee..

and then to abandon the discussion

when you can't reply in a straightforward manner.

except for one small interesting fact.

you just have to pop in when you think you've grabbed hold of

something to make a comment on...

no matter how evasive that comment is to the meat of the matter.

you like seeing yourself in print i think.

1. there is nothing to 'grab' onto.

2. neither 'you' nor the 'print' is real.

3. nothing matters anyway.

4. who are you talking to?

5. the gangs all here honey, but your not.

what'd you just say?

when did you say it...now?

why?

what's 'your' point?

what's love got to do with it?

as Tina says:

What's love but a second hand emotion

What's love got to do, got to do with it

Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken "

yes a brokenhearted melody....

identification is also evidence of a determination towards individuality.

but it is choice-less.

the undivided void determines itself as an individual identification

of a 'somebody'.

ain't that something?

actually no it's not.

it's nothing from first to last without beginning or end.

if you give thanks to the Understanding, it's amour propre will

respond with: it's nothing child! "

good response!

vain void!

Bobby,

You suffer the delusion that matters concerning descriptions of the

illusory self can be discussed by illusory selves.

You must remember to remember that in all matters insubstantial....no

discussion is possible.

We may come to some simple agreement on that taste of apples......but

can never agree on matters that exist only as self-referential concepts.

I appreciate your frenzied pointings..... I really do.

But......anywhere you point in a dream ...............is only dream.

......and there is no where else to point........and no one to point.

Get the point?

yes i do toombaru. i 'got' and understood the point some time ago.

as you say...

you're dreaming bud!

you can 'stop' 'your' suffering any time you want.

just quit(as an illusory 'self') your continued thwarted attempts at:

descriptions of the illusory self...and 'it's' 'world'.

good advise for both goose and gander sport.

by the bye...the taste of an apple...or anything..is THE most self

referential 'feeling' that anyone can have. we can NEVER agree on the

taste of apples..i don't know what they taste like to you and vice

versa. tell me toombaru, 'what does an apple taste like?'...and don't

use silly comparisons. as for " matters that exist only as

self-referential concepts " ..... tell me..what ISN'T a self referential

concept?

i too appreciate your phrenetic and 'self'-defeating 'giving it a try'

at seeming to know what your talking about...but it's plain silly.

dream on 'Don Quixote'...

those 'windmills'...

those windbag notions...

are only just...

well you know...you read the story.

no need to act it out though toombaru.

we all got the picture long since.

there are no 'points' in illusory dreams of dreams.

what the hell would the point of a 'point' possibly be in an illusion?

what you have answered above..proves the point!
