It doesn't take much looking at thoughts intently to discover that

they happen by themselves and that choice is a form of thought and

also happens of itself. After one sees these facts it is hard to take

up any kind of structured meditation anymore because you see that

practices are based on an automatic process--thinking.But here is Sri

Nisargadatta who was certainly aware of all this giving us a practice,

namely that of concentrating on the " Iam " sense. This of course is a

form of thought, it arises spontaneously and falls away spontaneously--

very many times in the course of a minute--and so does the

thought, " Watch the " I am " " . So we seem to be again dancing to the

tune of Mother Maya.

*** Hola. What can we say? Inevitability rules?

" Go back the way you came. " (Ramana, I believe; elaborated by

Stephen Wolinsky in his books.)

Steps in deconstruction, perhaps? Not what it 'Is'...

but we're 'talking' here. ;-)

did you post this by your own free will?

did you ask for further explanation.

or were those 'whatever's' post and question?

something 'else' made you do it right?

remember Ruby Begonia?

you know...Flip Wilson's character.

the Devil made her do it.

you sound just like Ruby.

you're cute.

..b b.b.

p.s.

don't get upset with me toombaru.

the 'that which is' made me write this.

and it didn't happen anyway.

and i'm not here..you're not there.

watch what happens to your 'world' now.

but then..don't bother watching.

you can't decide one way or the other anyway.

it's all been decided for you and you have no choice.

so don't do anything.

no...you can't NOT do anything either.

you have no choice one way or the other.

i knew you had an excuse for everything done or not done.

it's never your fault..your thought...your anything.

it's the devil dude.

oh!

one more question.

call it god's question.

not mine as i can't freely decide to ask anyway.

regarding the statement (whoever's or whichever's):

'Watch what happens to your world when the belief in free will is

factored out.'.

how can an agent without free will decide to 'watch it's world'?

or not?

how can 'it' 'factor out'..or 'in' anything?

it's like saying:

" even though you can't watch or factor just do it and see. "

your skates are magical.

those skate beat nike runners all to hell.

where did you buy them?

of course i mean(or god means),

where did the devil make you buy them?

i'd ask if you saw the problem with what you said but...

you didn't say it and i didn't contradict it...

the devil's been busy and..

speaking as god through the baba...

i could care less.
