Guest guest
Suspended between raja yoga and a pure bhakti heart a timeless allegory of delusion and illusion in Dante's Heaven and Hell transfixed and anointed with the holy balm of desire this is the waterfall dance of Life flows gently in the most delicate of all dreams welcomes all Lovers who dance away into mysteries unseen through the light of their own empty arms stifling a scream only the lonely can ever hear, Nessun Dorma! Yet the One who wills to love will always flow through his own soul and her open fingers once held in a tight and jealous grasp, The still birth of water is a darkly held secret and unmarked prison passageway- is it the light or is it the darkness that opens all flower buds to a yellow birdsong? when did the rain-soaked columbine grow soft green tendrils around even a coward's cowardly death? flying in the blackest raven's wings, for the steadfast heart and the silent mind wait patiently for no-one and it is the Poet who walks in unannounced, with only a wild wide-eyed toothless grin, speaks kindly to the unveiled dancer holding a bloody and reckoning sword I am sweetest in your embrace cleaving heart to heart ave maria gratia plena De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine We ride through the longest night and drink through the same victorious Soul. Nessun dorma! Dilegua, o notte! Tramontate, stelle! Tramontate, stelle! All'alba vincero! vincero, vincero! ENGLISH None must sleep! None must sleep! And you, too, Princess, in your cold room, gaze at the stars which tremble with love and hope! But my mystery is locked within me, no-one shall know my name! No, no, I shall say it as my mouth meets yours when the dawn is breaking! And my kiss will break the silence which makes you mine! (No-one shall know his name, and we, alas, shall die!) Vanish, o night! Fade, stars! At dawn I shall win

And with spanish subtitles at that! I listened to it and smiled the whole body smile I always do at the end. That must be the buddha smile they talk about. I liked the poem also but I'm glad I don't have to tell what it means in 50 words or less--or more for that matter! But because I don't know what it meant doesn't mean I don't know that it is pretty good. I am a poet too and if a poem comes to me I will post it.
