Guest guest
I know a guy who is an anger freak. He needs his fix of rage every so ofter--I don't know the exact interval between fits. Maybe it varies. When he gets going he likes to build up to a climax and so nothing you say can appease him. His wife, who is a rather nice woman when she is by herself or when her husband is turned off gets almost as crazy as he is when he is in spate. She backs him up to the hilt no matter how goofy his act gets. It has often occurred to me that she is an enabler and one time the words blurted out of my mouth--don't they all?-- " He is the way he is because she is the way she is. " I was much gratified recently to read the same exact phrase coming out of the paper mouth of Sri N. He carries it much further: Everything is so implicated in everything else that in the end all we can say is everything is the cause of everything. So much for causation. Knowing all this I still said to myself when I saw the photo of the guy who shot up the university last week, the photo where he is holding the automatic pistol to his head: " You nasty punk. Why didn't you shoot him first? " So much for " knowledge " .

" So much for " knowledge " . yep...and he was not so angry as he was in love with himself and his hero story. he would and did gladly sacrifice his physical ignition for that self glorified and loved to death idea of himself as victim. more religious and magical thinking. ..b b.b.
