Guest guest
The person is like a album of photos strapped to a horse. There is a nice site that goes into this and says it more convincingly: www.beyonddescription.net/figure_ground/slides.asp I think I got that right. I retort--Yes, but to get the concept is like getting a good look at a picture of a bear. It is not a real bear but if ever you should later come upon a real bear you will know better than to walk up to it saying " Here doggy, nice doggy " . In other words:knowledge is not it, but it prepares the way. But you mustn't mistake the pointy finger for the moon or you will have some pretty disaoppointing moonlit nights. The trouble comes when fingers attempt to point tho those things that exist only the imagination of the mind.....like love....god....happiness..law..... et al. If you can set it on the table.......you can point you finger at it. All the rest is dream stuff. toombaru
