Guest guest
Eckhart Tolle says that his ego collapsed all at once, like an inflated toy whose plug got pulled. My mom seems to have forseen that event and forstalled it with a little smear of rubber cement on the plug before it got inserted. So here I am an old man still dragging around a rubber duck. (however fast or slow). now if that 'his' part of 'his ego' would just let go... wow. if there was no 'achievement' of collapsing ego-dom. nothing was there to be collapsed from any 'state'. inflated or otherwise. well...now you're talking turkey. and you won't buy anymore eckart tolle books, and you won't buy him in any way anyway. ..b b.b. Yes, ego is not the problem. It is just a script.but when the actor gets lost in it--not so good. Then the rider starts carrying the horse.I take it that you are driving at something like that. Except there is nothing inside of an actor to get lost. There is a character......being played. There is only identification with limitation. No one is asleep. No one will wake up. Awakening is merely the understanding of the dynamic that occurs when identification creates a self referential conceptual circularity. toombaru
