A long time ago--probably more than 30 years-- I was mowing a lawn on

a little old Cub Cadet riding mower. I saw up head something in the

grass that looked like a rock. When I got close to it I stopped and

looking hard saw that it was a toad. This toad was sitting stock still

probably hoping that this noisy monster that was standing next to it

wouldn't see it.I kept staring at it wondering why it just sat there

in plain view when it might easily have hopped away to safety.Just as

I put the mower in gear and started to move again the toad made its

move and took a big leap--not necessarily a bad idea but a poor choice

of directions because it jumped right into the discharge slot and cme

back out almost immediately transformed itno a kind of green/grey mist-

-ther might have been some red in there also..From this event--which I

obviously never forgot--I learned the value of non-doing.Jai Guru!

some say toads taste like chicken.

that would be ok if everyone knew what chicken tastes like to all.

to me..they taste like toads.

chicken tastes more like tuna than toad.

for moral reasons i do not eat grains.

it goes against the grain.

for reasons i don't understand, i don't understand why.

for one very good reason.

I never did go back to eating meat-the flesh of land animals-- but I

did start eating fish.I was vegetarian for maybe 30 years. Always

had skin problems and bad memory. When I started eating a less

restricted diet these things cleared up. I am not saying

vegetarianism is unhealthy but unintelligent vegetarians might do

well to eat a little fish.
