T: Sorry. At that time I was a strict vegetarian.the toad was never at

any point in danger--except in his own worried estimation.

P: Hi, Tom-

I do like what you wrote. Matter of fact, I like most of what

you write. I cross-posted your 'Cherry serial killer poem'

and I know others liked it too. Nevertheless, the toad was

never worried, or had any estimation, other than in your

imagination. If that had been the case, it'd not have jumped

toward the machine. Toads know where they want to

go, it's just our imagination that they don't. If the toad

jumped toward the lawnmower is because it didn't

look, or smelled like the usual predators. I recognize,

I'm speaking for your toad without its authorization. ;))

If I'm right, this of course, doesn't invalidate your meta4,

on the contrary it makes it more valuable. How many times

we imagine we read the mind of others, and jump

in the jaws of a lawnmower?

P: I can write without you, you can't read

without you. I know what I wrote, but when

you read, you add that history of 'you and me.'

For you, what I said, is only what you see.

How can it be otherwise, as long as you, are you?

See?

Wow! amazing that such obvious knowledge never was discovered by such

an intelligent people as Indians who had thousands of years to observe

on millions of people what a strict vegetarian diet is.

Note i'm not a vegetarian either.

i think he refers to the East Indians and not the misnomered American

Aboriginal population.

ah...what happened to them?

and ah...what happened to the American Aboriginals?

last i heard they were doing fine...unless it's numbers that

count...in which case one of the two is a big winner and the other is

a big loser. but i don't think numbers of individuals is what you or

any intelligent person could possibly be thinking about.

so...

what happened to the 'Indians',

oh 'great keeper' of the historic flame?

wrong 'indians' toombaru...as i state in the just prior posting.

the huns took 'our' land at one time.

the romans took everyone's land at one time or another.

the germans took a bunch of land in wwII.

we're trying to take a lot of land in the middle east right now.

what does any of that prove?

what are you trying to prove?

in fact...what the hell are you saying at all?

first to realize that you have no choice--to see that clearly and

then over many years to see it again and again until that knowledge

never leaves you.I confess for me, most of the time I don't catch

the justhappenssness of things. But for a 3 hours every day I watch

Most Indians are not strict vegetarians.A lot of them eat anything

they can get.A lot of them eat the same way we do in the west.

Strict vegetarianism is a religoius position. Health faddists may

have taken it up but most of those who practice it do it for ethical

reasons. It is really a kind of luxury.Poor people eat small birds

and inscets ,whatever. I really would like to have continued it but

did not feel well.I still would rather eat nuts than fish. But fish

seems to have something I need. Maybe not.

now this from god's boy:

" Listen and understand. What goes into a man's mouth does not make him

'unclean', but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him

'unclean'. " Then the disciples came to him and asked, " Do you know

that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this? " He replied,

" Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up

by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads

a blind man, both will fall into a pit. "

Peter said, " Explain the parable to us. " " Are you still so dull? "

Jesus asked them. " Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes

into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come

out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean'.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual

immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man

'unclean'; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean'. "

imagine J.C. talking to Peter this way..what a mean guy huh?

and further:

" You are looking for me because you ate the loaves and had your fill.

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal

life! I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry,

and he who believes in me will never be thirsty! "

looks like jesus enjoyed a nice bowl of consciousness every now and

then his own self.

what????????

i don't get what you are saying.

i eat ice cream.

i don't NEED ice cream.

nobody makes me or forces me to eat ice cream.

the same holds true for MOST of the food eaten by most folks here.

i don't know what jesus ate, or what billy eats.

but i'm believing that jesus didn't NEED the wine.

i'm believing billy doesn't HAVE to eat @ 90% of his daily menu content.

and i bet YOU don't HAVE to eat a whole lot of what you DO eat.

sorry about your luck in my not believing you to be gandhi II.

but i won't buy your zoom.

and it sure as hell doesn't make ANY difference WHAT you or i or they eat.

that is the point of what i have been saying.

no stickum star for you today.

i didn't say you ate too much.

i said you didn't have to eat all the different foods you do eat.

you DO NOT have to eat all the different foods that you do eat.

there is absolutely no difference between that statement and what i said.

eating too much was nowhere in the discussion before this last post of

yours.

are you trying to change the items under discussion or don't you

really know what is being said at all?

where you see nop difference, i see a different thing being talked about.

you asked if i knew anyone..in particular jesus and gates...who did

not just eat what they had to eat.

i said yes i knew lots that did..including you and me and jesus and

the Bill.

and now you are trying to twist that into my saying something about

the 'quantity' of foodstuff.

WRONG.

you are not going to get away with that sort of silly obfuscation.

what is the connection of this post with the above discussion?

you do not have to eat all the different foods that you eat.

end of story.

this just happens to be the way things just happen..i guess.

no matter.

you still don't need the variety of foodstuff that you do enjoy.

a simple admission of fact is all that is required jesusisbuen@>.
