Almost ever night, after going to bed*,

one of my favorite thing to do is try

experiment and experience all different

kind of mediations that I have known. I

do it until I fall asleep. Most nights,

I fall asleep within 2-10 minutes and

thus, don't get to try and experiment

with that many methods.

Some of the method that I try and

experiment with are:

Name

-----

Conscious breathing (maybe,

similar to Vipassana or Yoga)

Process

-------

Just breathe deeply and

consciously. Initiate each breathe and

experience air going in, entering

chest, experience how it feels inside

the chest, then exhale and experience

how that feels. Consciously initiate

each inhale and exhale i.e. become

aware of it before it happens and

'decide' to do it; in place of just

watching it happen.

Other (and, more common) method of

same thing is to just become aware of

breathing and to watch it, in place of

consciously initiating each inhale and

exhale.

Effect

------

Very Deep and sound sleep

Reasoning

---------

Poor breathing is among the

main reasons behind poor sleep.

------

*Every morning, after I wake up, I

again like to try to experiment with as

many meditation methods as I can.
