I'm the worse for it. I have all these questions but they never seem

to get answered to my satisfaction, and even when they do, I kind of

forget after a few months.

Nis said: All you need is a quite mind

He also said something about not telling everyone, that it's all to

easy to destroy the little you have gained by pride.

When I go to bed every night, I read Nisargadatta as an anti-dote to

any rubbish I might have heard during the day. Then I close my eyes

and stay with the sense I am. Usually I forget and fall asleep, but

then, I remmber that Nis said we like sleep because that sense of I am

is not there.

Hmmm.

I'm going to bed.

Ha!!

I like that, but does the itch pertain to innocence or the dimness?

When I read the words of others, no matter who's, yours or

Nizargadatta's or even my own words, it's like I'm chewing on their

(or my) vomit. If you like that kind of thing, hey, knock yourself

out.

I find I'm always in that frame of mind before I go to bed :-). Have

done this for the last six months. I read the same stuff over and over

again - mostly from the Ultimate Medicine. And then I meditate.

I've got Siddharameshwar's book now too. What a gem. Howvere, Nis had

to appear in one of my dreams once, to warn be about the dangers of

getting attached to his words, and him.

When I found Nisargadatta's I Am That, in a box in a corner of a

second hand book shop, many years ago, I was searching for something.

I didn't even know what I was searching for when I went in ther. Some

kind of magic book, I guess. Funnily enough I found it. Miracles do

sometimes happen.

Words, as Nisargadatta said, are all there is to express it. I'm glad

for Nisargadatta's words, and when I read his notes in " Master of Self-

Realisation " , it makes me realise how earnest he was, and how diligent

he listened to his master's words, Siddharameshwar.

Hi Jason,

Good to meet you.

Yes, I was also very grateful of finding Nizargadatta. Or rather, it

was the other way around. He found me. Well, not Niz, actually. What

found me were his words. Well, that's not exactly true, either. His

words didn't find me; the words of one of his students did. Actually,

it was an english translation of the spoken words of Niz. More

accurately, it was a translation of Niz's words approved for

publication by Niz himself that found me. That's pretty funny,

considering Niz was no master of the English language. How could he

have approved a translation of his words then? Can you figure that

out?

Nice.

To question is to assume a position as a questioner.

To assert is to assume a position as an asserter.

To demonstrate something is to assume a position as someone who has

something to demonstrate.

To assume no position, won't be something demonstrated, asserted, or

offered as a question.

One who rests as " what is " can't be found anywhere, won't be seen as a

demonstration in the manifestation, won't appear as a question or an

answer.

Hi Jason -

If you get through his words earnestness and integrity, that is more

valuable than what the words say.

If one shines as a lamp unto oneself, it is by way of earnestness and

integrity.

One is honest, direct, open to being aware.

There is no price to put on this, no way to buy it.

You can buy a book, you can pay to hear someone's words, or to engage

in their program -- but you can't purchase sincerity, directness,

non-distorting honest awareness.

..........and like some ethereal squid....the names evaporate.....the

edges blur....and the entity disappears into the flowingness...only to

mysteriously reappear when its name is called.
