Saying, " There is before and afer, " is Before. Nisargadatta did not find interest in talking about his own history except with respect to one point, which he never tired of repeating: He said over and over that he listened to his guru, and then after very few years.... (something). In talking about that he was referring to Before and After. And After there was for him no " before or after. " It is neo-advaitaism, in my view, that makes terse assertions and wants to discount that there is any " transition " . But if there were no Transition we would not be here talking about this. The Transition is between Before and After. The One Moment in history. Bill Bill
