Guest guest Posted May 20, 2007 Report Share Posted May 20, 2007 Driving past a golf course today, the expanse of it filled my whole windshield.I thought: Vast as this piece of ground seems, it is really only a tiny spot in my brain that has anything to do with it.The whole 20 acres or 40 or whatever is contained in that little knot of excited cells.And whatever VALUE it has comes from somethng wholly beyond that little patch of tissue and in a way wholly uninvolved with that tissue.Or should I say independent of that tissue.
