Guest guest
Things happen. Body is a mass of things happening--sensations.Body is sensations and an idea or image derived from these sensations. The bodyimage is just another arising.Thinking is happening.Ego is happening--a specialized form of thought. All this is just happening and since ego is part of the perceived bunch of happenings, ego is not the one to whom all these things are happening. It is itself one of the happenings. So, to whom are these thoughts, images, sensations happening? Must be nobody. This is what is meant by liberation--you are liberated from the idiotic, unexamined misery of thinking you are an embodied ego to whom things happen and who can kick ass in the world if the world gives him half a chance--or whose ass is getting kicked cuz the flipping world hates him and is unjust.HO detto

You will not find it if you don't look. The truth of this cannot be seen with conceptual logic. toombaru

Do you have to reason yourself into seeing that you had nothing to do with that?
