Moreover, it is a figment of our imagination. Our dream of reality, thinking thoughts. Buddha and Hitler are thought forms the same as " Anna " and " Ietsa " . No more or less. Some we ascribe to some we don't. Simple as that. The 'world' is not 'out there'. Each and every one of us IS the world, and we either add to the suffering or find ways to relieve it via Buddha-like thoughts and behaviours or Hitler-like thoughts and behaviours. The next question: is what is suffering? Is suffering is in the eye of the beholder? Light, Anna

I guess the saying " it taste like icecream " has no value so we are trying other words that are more easy to see as pointers... thats all.... I never meant to say that any word is more or better than any other word....they are just different...and at the same time not different ....iietsa

I hope it's still fun after explained ... :-) meaning that one suffers if trying to avoid or get rid of suffering -- but by being the suffering without avoidance -- there is no suffering (no resistance to what is). in the heart of the suffering, is no suffering. in the heart of the fire, there is no heat. the lotus is not darkened by the dirty water it floats in - indeed that is what enables its lotus-ness. this non-avoidance does not mean that one will automatically refuse to respond to or to relieve another's suffering. it doesn't mean one will automatically do or not do anything. it is freedom. indeed, nonavoidance makes possible the relieving of another's suffering -- although this may or may not fit what others expect to see. there are many implications to this - such as being aware that there is no separable being which is to be relieved of suffering. this very awareness is " relief of the other's suffering. " and even, the relieving of any existence of any other, or of any self. -- D.
