Doership sense

First there is doership sense that arises and it is supreme. Then

sooner or later, after many years maybe, along with doership sense

arises the knowledge that doership sense is delusion.This latter does

not put much of a dent in doership sense. It still arises and almost

as frequently as it did before.So that the dent seems to be not so

much a wound as a kind of identifying mark, a kind of tag that says:I

am not to be trusted.Then after a long time again maybe the dent

deepens and deepens and begins to hollow out doership sense until one

day doership sense is nothing but a see-through shell of its old

mighty self that doesn't even need to be tagged anymore--it has become

so filmy that it is hard to see at all.Like a ghost. I figure there

a lots of folks who have a tagged sense of doership.Probably a whole

lot fewer have a ghost.
