Guest guest
For several months I have been checking out gurus on the web.Of them all--and there are a great many I have tasted and a great many more I have not--of all the ones I have looked at so far I would rate Parsons as someone worth going to hear.I call him a guru but he refuses the title and any other. What is his message? You are always everything--which doesn't mean you are china or India but that at any given Now you are everything you are conscious of. You are the whole field of your experience and not just a point in the middle or off to one side looking on.So if you could be conscious of China or India-- which you can't--you would be those too. This is simplifying the thing and flattening it and probably even falsifying it to some extent but ... the teachers who top my list of folks not worth bothering with are those who tell you how much it will cost you to talk to them for half an hour on the phone.I hope they don't hold their breath waiting for a ring from this nonperson. Guest guest
The very first group I belonged to originating from England was in that tradition. (I can drop a lot of names;-) If you want the experience, you'll have it, cause you'll be t/here, at the right time and place. That group is mostly archive now, however a group moderated by Roy Whenary (A Texture Of Being) is still active, of which I am currently a member: openawareness Tell em I sent ya;-) Love Nisargadatta , " tom " <jeusisbuen wrote: > > For several months I have been checking out gurus on the web.Of them > all--and there are a great many I have tasted and a great many more I > have not--of all the ones I have looked at so far I would rate > Parsons as someone worth going to hear.I call him a guru but he > refuses the title and any other. What is his message? You are always > everything--which doesn't mean you are china or India but that at any > given Now you are everything you are conscious of. Guest guest
Nisargadatta , diana shellam <diana.shellam wrote: > > i have most of tony cds and 1 dvd, he is good, so is john sherman, iv not seen tony live but my daughter has, he only charges £10 at the door... john sherman dont charge at all. diana donations are of course freely requested as well. bet the books and multimedia are just about as 'free' too. aren't we all a little on in years to still believe in santa claus. now to squarely look at the facts: snake oil has always been available for a small initial fee, (or for 'free'). it's the 'after market' the salesman lust for. the boys and girls on that satsang-guru circuit are sales savvy. books and tapes and videos and and and.... every'body' needs to make a living though. even those who say 'they' don't. they just sweetly lie about it. why did Jesus need a treasurer? (judas) got the inside skinny on the 'donations'. i pay to go to hockey games... now that's an enlightening experience. note: this satsang has been provided 'free of charge'. ..b b.b. p.s. my loves: 3D video of the above available. contact: .b bobji baba for details and various payment plans. don't miss this opportunity to find your 'true Self' and lose your $$. now doesn't that make all the sense in the world? it works for the baba!
