Guest guest
- " To suggest, in a blanket statement, that there are 'no reasons,' is the kind of thing I needed to do, at one time. I suppose it's just part of the insight process. I probably, if not certainly, do it myself. Nevertheless, with increasing perspective, statements seem to find their context and words regain their meaning, modified, recontextualized. " I often heard it said that, for example, 'the objective is the subjective,' and 'the personal is the political,' etc. And, finally, and most relevantly, 'man is not man, man is God,' the oft declared core of Advaita. " What seems to be missed is that nothing is in a static state. It isn't, I'm sure, that man is God, and that's that. Rather, it's that we are all in a Process of seeking our souls as God. And that when we experience that wholeness, we temporarily feel like God. " It's all a dynamic. And it includes overstatement and understatement.
