" ... > Self-doubt also came in form > of " Will my present action be > most profitable? " ... This difficulty in decision making changed once I started learning, respecting and observing the Spiritual laws that I learned partially by reading Dr. Hawkins. It was often difficult to determine: ------- what action is likely to generate more immediate and long-term profits. but, it was often easy to SEE: ------- what thought and action were based on compassion, kindness , love and... Reason. It was often difficult to know: --------- which action was going to please my boss, my colleague, my wife or what was going to be best for children. But, it was easy to SEE: --------- which thoughts and actions were based on Peace, Awareness, Love and Reason and which were based on greed, fear, guilt or reactivity. Using this, it was easy to see when I was acting under reactivity, anger, greed, guilt or fear and when I was acting out of Love, Peace, Compassion and Reason. Realizing this and realizing that the results were not really in my control and thus, were not really my 'responsibility' - decision making became easier and Self doubt was replaced with the question 'what is compassionate, kind, reasonable and peaceful?' versus 'what is based on greed, fear, guilt or reactivity'. I saw that in acting with compassion, kindness, Love and Reason... happiness and peace naturally result in Present. And, when acting, thinking out of reactivity, greed, fear or guilt... it was foolish not to expect pain. > > ---- > Dr. Hawkins LOC chart: > > < http://tinyurl.com/2vr837 > >
