the Solution.

the Problem:

Why are you unhappy?

Because 99.9 per cent

Of everything you think,

And of everything you do,

Is for yourself —

And there isn't one.

~ Wei Wu Wei

the Solution:

Don't make all 99.9 per cent

Of everything you think,

and of everything you do,

for 'yourself'.

Be little More Open and

little More Inclusive.

Keep thoughts about 'yourself'

to only .1% of all thoughts -

" my " enlightenemnt, " my "

happiness, " my " success,

" my " salvation - forget it ;)

SEE how is it to think without

thinking for 'yourself',

SEE how it is to act without

doing it for 'yourself' ;)

And, not doing it for 'yourself'

doesn't mean doing it for... 'other' ;)

'Other' is as empty as 'i' ;)

SEE What is Left when You:

..... think without thinking for

'yourself' and without thinking for... 'other'.

..... Act without doing it for

'yourself' and without doing it for... 'other'.

What is Left???

Hi AC,

What you wrote above is just a mind game, juggling with ideas you

have read somewhere. Which is ok as long as you are just fiddling

with them. But besides keeping th mind occupied all those ideas are

of no use.

Btw, since longer I am a fan of Wei Wu Wei. Especially I like his

book 'Open Secret' which is, as you might know, not an easy read.

But let me ask you is your mind really quiet without any thought or

do you just endlessly playing with that hypothesis " If there would be

no thought then ... " which is just like a belly full of gas blowing

its heavy load onto a forum like this here ?

Yes, sometimes it is ;)

And, sometimes it is bubbling with love and laughter ;)

Sometimes it is bubbling with happiness and joy ;)

Sometimes, I might get little worried ;)

And, sometimes, I might think, X is a real bitch ;)

But my dear Arvind,

just try to look at all this

with different eyes, just once.

The problem:

" why are you unhappy? "

Your solution:

do not think for " yourself " .

But this is not possible,

because the purpose is

ones own happiness

the motivation is 100% for himself

and all thinking will be 100% for himself

There is a better solution

and Wei Wu Wei has already included it

in his statement:

>Why are you unhappy?

>Because 99.9 per cent

>Of everything you think,

>And of everything you do,

>Is for yourself —

>And there isn't one.

" there isn't one " !

There is no " yourself " to become happy,

and one can think all kind of percentage

for or against " oneself " ...

it makes no difference because:

there isn't one.

This is the solution.

Greetings

Stefan

No... Stefan, I don't think so.

There isn't 'one'

and, also, there is ONE.

That's the riddle, isn't it ;)?;)

Hi Babaji,

back from silence?

I knew irony is beyond your capacity.

Just as your ability to read statements in correlation with the thread.

(Hint: the subject " The Solution " was from Arvind, not from me).

The solution:

go back to kindergarden

:-))

True, Arvind!

I said " if " ... " then " ...

and logical conclusions are certainly of the mind.

But why do you emphasize mind of " somebody " ?

Is there also something like the mind of " nobody " ?

I am just saying that

one who knows there is 'nobody' is already a 'somebody'.

Neither ' 'I' am' nor

' 'I' am not' are completely true.

'i' am and also, 'i' am not.

or, 'I' neither am nor I am not.

A good observation, and all I have said was:

" If there is nobody, then there is no problem " .

I say this because problems arise to " somebody " .

To be somebody is itself the root of all problems.

In other words your " solution " (as you have called it)

is not a solution as long " somebody has problems " .

This is maybe a " riddle " -

But maybe also " plain simple " -

the problems dissolve as " you " dissolve

and there is nothing to say

Hi my dear Babaji,

I am happy to be able to entertain you.

But you are slooow

irony is beyond your capacity

and humor is unknown in your world

The solution:

I am afraid this time I don't have one

Good, Babaji!

You are really very slow,

but finally you seem to have understood

that there was never a solution!

Well, it seems... let's see.

Have a nice day

this unintelligible riposte of yours is but a sad example of scraping

the bottom of the barrel for some semblance of 'self' respect after

being shown how stupid your lines of thought and attempts at

communicating them were in fact even more clueless than just being wrong.

baba knows that there is no solution for things being this way for

you.

and clueless...

no one is fast...no one is slow...in timelessness.

don't get pissed off..there is 'no one' pissing 'you' off...

there is 'no one' to be pissed off...

there is no piss to be pissed.

don't worry yourself over 'things' that 'seem':

" Well, it seems... let's see. "

'you' will never ever see.

have whatever kind of day you think you're having,

Ahhh... good, Baba!

You sound much better when you are not whining

That nobody understands you.

But now, there is the next step for you:

take care about your own dreams

It is not so difficult when you realize

that - when you write about Stefan -

you are in fact writing about Baba.

Just go for it...

and do not fall back into defensive mode

stop whimpering.

you need discipline.

child...

you will never understand the baba.

baba Rejoices in this.

never does .b bobji kvetch about not being understood...

that fact is baba's greatest Joy.

seeing that 'you' dream of baba dreaming is humorous.

when realized that the initial dreamer is also the dreamt...

all that's left is to giggle at the passing leaves and passing foolish
