Although Libet himself commented in the closing section of his paper,

 

" ...it is important to emphasize that the present experimental findings

 

and analysis do not exclude the potential for 'philosophically real'

 

individual responsibility and free will " , several writers have, at least

 

in popular presentations, rather exaggerated the possible implications

 

of the experiments.
