Guest guest
> > Do you have jealousy? Sure. I have 'seen' it few times. I discovered that: there was a difference between having the ability of 'anger'... and, being an obedient 'servant' of that anger. There was a difference between having capacity of 'hate'... and, " working " under the blind dictation of that hate. And, that " difference " was the miracle of being 'conscious'... of being 'human'! Just because an 'emotion' arises doesn't mean that I have to blindly ''serve' it. I can " choose " to serve love, forgiveness, compassion, reason... even after an 'anger' had arisen. Anger is just a message and a 'choice' among several other... 'choices' and being 'conscious' means being aware of those choices. A human is designed to be able to have all the emotions including hate, anger, jealousy and compassion and I discovered that it is not at all necessary to 'get rid of' the 'ability' of any of these emotions... wishing that will be akin to saying that there is a basic flaw in the design of human psyche that I have to correct before I an be... 'alright'. These emotions are nothing but a 'message' that require decoding, comprehension, understanding and sometimes... action. Less conscious and aware I am... stronger these messages need to be in order to draw my attention. Without these emotions, in many cases, I would be lost and will be unable to functions as a " human " . Yet, presence of these emotions doesn't equal having to blindly serve them. I further noticed that I am not really 'responsible' for what emotions arise... I am only responsible for what I " choose " to 'serve' versus what I just examine, understand and then, when applicable... let go of... or, just laugh at... What arises can have many reasons including the wonderful DESIGN of human body which has survived millions of years plus evolution, genetic, evolution, environment and... conditioning but, what I " choose " to serve can be easily done by Simply Being Present and Conscious... at the time of " choosing " !
