I have read that evil breeds evil i.e. when someone acts in anger, in hate, in violence towards others... others automatically and naturally 'react' in the same way. For that reason, I have started seeing that being 'noble' and 'evil' is more about what you choose to 'serve' less about 'who you really are'! Potential for anger, hate, fear, greed, reactivity and love, reason, forgiveness and courage might be present in all of us at all the time and, we may not have a choice there. Further, " fear " [or anger] might be a natural first response to an attack, we may not have a choice there too. Being 'human' [conscious] might mean being conscious enough to be able to " choose " which potential to serve among multiple possibilities that are present within us. Choosing to serve Love, Forgiveness and Reason means acting and being 'noble'. Being blinded by reactivity, hate or anger, and, thus unable to choose, or, intentionally choosing to serve greed and fear means acting and being 'evil'. At least, that is what my current theory of good and evil is. Regards, ac
