Thanks! That sounds like a good idea: In order to be happy, have less demands. We do make many *demands* for happiness and we give ourselves *permission* to be happy, only if those demands are met. Looks like, we create *lack of happiness* [by creating a pre-condition] to motivate us to do things and we work to deny ourselves happiness unless those demands are met, fearing that if we became really happy, we will lose our motivation to do things. Looks like we consider doing things more important than being happy and thus we work to 'manipulate' our intrinsic desire to be happy to make us motivated and for this, first we *manufacture* a lack of happiness. What if our *demands* were simpler like: I will be happy, if I can breathe. I will be happy, if I can see. I will be happy, if I can think. I will be happy, if I exist. Or, I am happy because, I am. i.e. I am happy because I realize I exist, how great that I exist, how marvelous, how miraculous that I exist. What if, our demands were that simple. What if our demands for others too were so simple: I am so grateful to you because, you exist. Thank you so much for existing, it is so grand, so marvelous that you exist. Someone said, Happiness in us... only needs our *permission*. I find it true.
