Guest guest
Namaste. I am a new member of this group. Some time back, I had gone through " I AM THAT " -- a collection of interviews and discussions with Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Ever since, body and thought processes that had kind of settled down in a familiar pattern have apparently been stoked, and now whatever-it-is resembles a battleground! There is a deep wish that I spend some time in the company of some realized-but-still-living-in-physical-form soul. I am 42 years of age, and live in Chennai (Tamil Nadu). Does any one in this group have any idea of any such person? And how to locate one? Thank you.

Guest guest
Namaste, I know of such a person, it is myself. I check from time to time, to see what's new on this list, and am always delighted when honest seekers stumble across the net. The internet is a great place to find spiritual awakening. So if you like, you are among the realized, meeting in person might be slightly more difficult, as I reside in switzerland at present time. But if you like, we can chat, just let go of the idea that you will be free and at peace when I'm done with you. Nehtefa PS: Am I a charlatan? Of course I am, everyone is a charlatan. Guest guest
yes and there are many such persons such as yourself. as a Divine, i frankly find it funny that you feel proud. being in such a lowly state is hardly a thing to be proud about. but then people such as you can't really be proud about anything. life's a bitch for losers. people who need people are your only seekers. such lonely creeps will always find you too. you were meant for each other you sorry little assholes. and barbara streisand can sing scmaltzy bullshit about you. Guest guest
My dear friend: Just do what Sri Nisargadatta says. Stop looking for Realization, all there is is Realization. There is nothing whatsoever that you can do or need to do to Realize except to be who you already are in utter simplicity. Stop trying to find the Great Something or the Great Someone. There is nothing but the Truth, You are ALREADY THAT. You are already the Real. BE WHO YOU ARE.Raghu Sankaran <raghunathans wrote: Namaste. I am a new member of this group. The above is true, but rare is the individual who can take such vague advice and 'take it to the bank' . . . Look at something like meditation to gain familiarity with " I Am " - a little familiarity beats tons of advice any day.

Something like " rare is the realized one who shows himself, and when he does it's for your benefit " - something like that. It explains the seeming scarcity of 'realized people', anyway. What kind of talk are you interested in? Or is dispassion your passion? ;-). I make no claims to know any 'realized ppl' but am interested to know what discourse you like? Peace.... Guest guest
no more adviceLarry <inmadison wrote: Nisargadatta , Dennis OLeary <cherub1948 wrote: > > My dear friend: Just do what Sri Nisargadatta says. BE WHO YOU ARE. The above is true, but rare is the individual who can take such vague advice and 'take it to the bank' . . . Look at something like meditation to gain familiarity with "I Am" - a little familiarity beats tons of advice any day. Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
