Guest guest
Why, you guys, don't you call off the search? " Just realise you are dreaming a dream you call the world and stop looking for ways out. The dream is not your problem. Your problem is that you like one part of your dream and not another. Love all or none of it, and stop complaining. When you have seen the dream as a dream, you have done all that needs to be done. It seems to imply that clarity is what gets in the way of clarity. If what was meant is that the idea of enlightenment is what gets in the way of enlightenment, then I might agree, but it seems that's not what was meant either. It's not necessary to erase words from the dictionary because a word isn't understood by many. While that can give the impression of some kind of subtle superior knowingness, it's only necessary to clarify what it means. Enlightenment happens to no one because that's the nature of the Realization. It's an event that occurs through the vehicle that ends suffering by removing the illusory belief in the identity. As the only event through which human suffering ever ends, perhaps it at least deserves a word in the dictionary. >Does that translate to 'Ego would rather know the concepts than looseit's head'?> Philwell phil..the suggestion is:that you loose that love affair with both head and ego.it's not only unbecoming..it's deluded.need a spell out or translation again?it likely won't help (pearls before swine and all that rot).end of story.a true friend in peace and proper prosperity i remain as always, ****And that last line is by far the ugliest thing you've said; like you just took Truth out in the back alley and raped her mercillessly. It's an > event that occurs through the vehicle that ends suffering by removing the > illusory belief in the identity. no siree. 'enlightenment' doesn't happen in time. IT is NOT an event. it's ALL that ever was, is, or will be. it seems paradoxical..but it's not. there is not an iota of difference between enlightenment and anything. it's just screwy thinking that believes that it's: 'mystical'..mysterious'..'developed'..'earned'..'other'. but then a stalled 'vehicle' seems to need that belief. you'd know all about that. step on the gas by not trying so hard. it's easy and besides..there is no choice.
