Faulty reasoning notwithstanding, everything dies, sooner or later. Either in the neti neti of things or in the physicality we call life functioning. The question is what do you buy into? There's a myriad of possibilities accordingly (just some): reincarnation, heaven, bardo, hell, purgatory, 72 virgins or nothing at all?
