I'm afraid that the mass of humanity will continue to cower in the fear of their

imaginary

gods.

Only the fewest of the few will ever be inclined to open " I Am That " .

No one wants to hear about their own insignificance..........or their certain

mortality.

Much like a great mass of humanity would have allowed one man to " die

for them " . Quite lazy and cowardly attitude imho.

Yes.

It seems that in order to survive within the illusion of self the mind develops

certain

coping skills.

One of which is the expiation of sin through the old tried and true scape goat

method.

Everybody wins.............but the goat.

It may seem that way...however, the " goat " may have been " chosen " and

fulfilled some sort of ancient karmic ritual, written somewhere or

another by someone or another.

It all depends on who and what we *buy into*... *universal* sacrifices

notwithstanding.

And then there are those who are born to show the Way, so to speak.

That is the core assumption out of which the religious mind is formed and

struggles to

confirm the reality of that which never existed.

If I am real.....something must have created me....and that something must be

bigger and

more powerful than I am.

Holy Jesus.............I better be nice to that What-Ever-It-Is.

If it made me.....it can kill me.

Danger Will Robinson...Danger.

Faulty reasoning notwithstanding, everything dies, sooner or later.

Either in the neti neti of things or in the physicality we call life

functioning.

The question is what do you buy into? There's a myriad of

possibilities accordingly (just some): reincarnation, heaven, bardo,

hell, purgatory, 72 virgins or nothing at all?

And wouldn't it just be something if it were exactly what you

think...just like life...?
