HA! Yes, it gets progressively more clear where the path of the mind ultimately leads, and I see no reason to create a hell where before, there was none. The rotting stench of atrophied heart muscles is a dead give away. :(

Hi Phil, If ever there was a course of Mind vs. Heart in one person

and one marriage, it is in me and in my marriage.

Anna's mind has constantly and consistently questioned everything like

a scientist, my life being my experiment. My heart loving and wanting

to love and be loved. Where this journey has taken me is right here

and now. I couldn't have written a more unbelievable and intriguing

story if I had written it myself ;-) Much suffering, much love and

much change.

My husband, always content, even though a workaholic and very much

into his body pleasures of eating drinking working (sex probably last

on his list ;-( while I used it for higher frequencies) was always

bemused with my libraries of books. He'd find me downstairs already

reading very early in the morning.

So our lives have been lived separately for the last 8 years, he can't

work due to many surgeries and illnesses, lives with my daughter, and

his mind is very dull (medications). Me, well you know me.

In the end we deny much, suffer much, love much. And we forfeit it

all we have lost and all we have gained.

We sing the song and dance the dance as long as we can.

Love,

Anna

Hmmm, not just any dance for you, it has to be a Salsa. Hey, remember a dance in the 70's called 'the bump'? Hehe. You've always struck me as all heart, Anna, and it's needed wherever I see you dancing. I need it now, cause this.......isn't working for me anymore.

Love,

Phil

****Nonduality, at least as it's practiced here, has a strong mind focus which leads one either into the delusion of the void (been there, done that, didn't like it at all) or it drops you at the doorstep with nowhere to turn, which is when folks start milling around the gallows selling enlightenment buttons, which is what happens on most of these lists. When the mind becomes an outdated tool, it's time for the heart to open to the mystery. If it does not, you end up with something like a really bad remake of Attack of the Zombies.Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Get new twists on family favorites at AOL Food.
