" Only the image gets hurt " J.K.

With image K has meant the self-image.

During a talk with a visitor that person said what he will say now is

very naughty but he has to say it. K interrupted him and said " Sir,

there is no such a thing as being naughty, there only is sensibility " .

'Hurt' is not the issue. I don't know any of you and you don't know me. I have no attachment to you liking me and I have no self judgment within which your insults, even if true, can hurt me. Those who consistently find the need to insult are clearly exploring their own arrogance and anger whether they choose to actually pay attention or not.

The issue here is one of what the mind and heart is being fed. Do you read the National Inquirer (tabloid press) instead of Krishnamurty because, after all, it's just an image that is reading? Is there a difference between an evening of TV news and an evening of Kahil Gibran?

I mentioned this yesterday on another list where a similar discussion is going on. Here, it may meet with a barrage of insults, but in case you haven't noticed, that doesn't stop me from saying what I want to say. As a result of some Kundalini energy releases, I can feel the energy flow in my body all the time, and it allows me to detect a subtle change immediately. It's actually very interesting to see what happens to our energy system as we move our focus of awareness around. When I have a deep, intuitive focus or I'm inspired or creative or reading powerful poetry, there's a river of fire that flows through me and makes my body tremble. When I encounter ugliness and ego silliness, that flow goes stagnant. I happen to know that energy flow is what keeps you healthy and alive, and if you knew what your thoughts were doing to that flow, you would be much more concerned about where you place your focus of attention. Ultimately, one never finds Truth, or anything else of value, while playing in the gutter.

Thanks for replying, Phil,

But, that energy thingy is out of my reach, not to mention that

Kundalini stuff.

I personally feel more attracted to psychology and neuroscience than

to all that spiritual stuff which depends on tricky imaginative self-

hypnosis.

Their is no difference in the " scientist " and " mystic " ....it's all
