Guest guest
Last night I dreamt of an island named San Christabal that was suffering because of a decline in the tourist trade. They had sent a contingent to the United States to speak about their plight. The people on San Cristabal were very tall and had a yellowish skin. I talked in length to several of them and they were shocked and hurt that I had never heard of their island. (I just looked up San Cristabol and evidently it is a town in Mexico) (I don't recall ever hearing that name before.) I talked to a sea captain about what he thought could be done and he informed me that there wasn't much there and the only thing for tourists to do was gather pebbles by the ocean. I found myself in San Cristabal at a night club and an odd syncopated rhythm pounded through the tropical air. One of the tall yellow ladies handed me a drink and...................... Well.......the dream went on and on.......... Eventually it began to crumle.........and I heard my wife say: " Natie's coming this morning. We are going to try out the new Mario's Super Galaxy game. The conceptual mind is wonderfully creative and needs to constantly be swimming or it will sink below the surface. I think that the word " dream " is used for the waking dream experience simply because there is no better word to describe the conceptual overlay in which the sense of self flounders. For the identified entity.....there is no other world....but it is pseudo-post-it place. The sages speak of the natrualness just outside the named world. It cannot be experienced by the one who creates and emerges from within the dream of separation. And strangely the naturalness includes and embraces the very dream that some try so hard to escape. Life as an identified entity is the best and broadest arena of experience available in manifestation.......but.....like all things.....it has a down side. There is a perspective that is able to see and appreciate it for what what it is...and what it isn't. From there...it is all seen as a most impersonal-fascinating-flowingness. And it is realized that the experience available there cannot be found anywhere else......it is all becomes so unspeakable grand......... one looks around for someone to thank......and there is no one but you.....silent in the very center of the swirling universe. toombaru
