P: Hey! Era, thanks. Phil has a nice voice, but he

needs a haircut. Can a successful guru be that ugly?

I'd advise wearing a mask, and then don't saying

nonsense like: " Existence can't be defined. It's just

Awareness, the Self. "

If it can't be defined, if it can't be a thought, it can't

be awareness, or self. Whatever

is, is unnameable.

How kInd and insightful.

What you said really adds a lot to the possibility of communication.

It seems, Toomb, you haven't listened to Phil's talk. Maybe then you

would have understood Petes reaction a bit better.

I listened to that talk, Toomb. After one third of it I said " grump "

and switched off.

If your preconceptions do not agree with someone........it is childish to call

them names

and make fun of their physical appearance.

Have you even considered the possibility of discussing the ideas he presented?

Or is it just easier to hurl inanities from the balcony?

And you two imagine that you are trying to find yourselves?

If I were either of you....I would hope I didn't.

Wait a moment, Toomb,

If you want to discuss preconceptions or Pete's uttereances about

Phil's outer appearance then please discuss that with Pete.

When it comes to the ideas Phil presented in that talk:

GRUMP !

P: You know, Werner, that I was just testing Phil,

but Toom took the bait. Phil reacted rather mildly,

which is good. But why Toomb would take offense?

Toomb, we must conclude is a lot uglier than Phil,

and maybe still identifies with his ugly carcasss,

and still gets hurt by words. I'm disappointed. I

thought Toomb was past all that stuff.

Cogent ?

I don't know that word, Toomb.

But let me add that your metamorphosis from a wise poet into a

spitting moralist was quite entertaining.

P: I'm sure glad you post here, Werner. You, and Toomb, and

Stefan are always on the side of clarity, and dispelling the

fog of beliefs that clog these lists. I think it's a shame you

only post here. The world needs your common sense.

" If your preconceptions do not agree with someone........it is

childish to call them names

and make fun of their physical appearance. "

Yep!

Cease. . . . making preferences,

choices, like 'I'd rather have this than that'

Beauty/Ugly.

Good/Bad.

Guru/Disiple.

What's the difference between you and me?

Please don't say everything, it's a bit old hat, that is.

Hit the streets, getta life, and you'll meet your self round every

corner.

Tom.x.
