Guest guest
The human psyche is shaped very much like a sponge. It is a large sack with talking heads lining the inside. Heads live and die......never privy to the vastness just beyond the sack. Each head has a specific function. Some gather food for the colony......some are designed to protect it......and some function to cool it when it gets too warm. It is very much like an ant colony or bee hive in which the concept of individuals simply has no meaning. It is a seething mass of activity and when not viewed in its totality it gives the appearance of chaos. Looking into the sack, one would see the heads talking day and night......talking to the other heads.....talking to their pets...talking to themselves. The talking heads drift into work crews whose overall function remains hidden from them. Each of the heads is designed to believe that it has an autonomous-volitional existence. Pretty neat huh? toombaru
