They (the Christian nut jobs) have this crazy idea where they think that creationism is the alternative to Darwinism. They actually believe that there are only two competing stories, their story and the science story. I have heard them say things like, children should be able to hear 'both sides' of the argument so that they can have informed choice in the matter, as though creationism is somehow a legitimate argument to science, as though creationism is somehow on a level playing field science. That's like thinking that kindergarten is on the same level as university. These people are deeply unconscious, in no way are they fit to be making decisions for themselves, much less making decisions that affect the lives of others. tyga

It is indeed shocking and scary when people base their belief system on an ideology that comes straight from the bronze age want to lead the rest of into the future. Enlightenment is not contingent on external factors... however, the need to procur violence to prove *spirituality* or one's *supriority* over another's country, state, religion, sex, ethnicity, can hardly be deemed *enlightened*. Sad is the state of affairs when violence is the way/method to prove and/or foster understanding. ~A

Guest guest
IT`S ALL ABOUT GOD....Parabrahman, THAT or whatever you call him. IT`S not about 'I'...'ME " ...experiencing, being enlightened, this or that, suffering, practice, knowing/not knowing. The above is exactly the conclusion that people in extreme difficult situations need to come to. Yes....you start at the beginning to get to that amazement. Who`s job is it to convince people of this when everybody and everything is GOD? Where would this convincing occur....when all times and circumstances ar GOD? WHO would do anything when the inside and outside of ALL BEINGs is GOD? The 'you' or 'me' that would have issues or problems here doesn`t exist. No two so no problem nonduality
