If it wasn't so serious, it would be laughable.

They (the Christian nut jobs) have this crazy idea where they think that

creationism is the alternative to Darwinism. They actually believe that

there are only two competing stories, their story and the science story.

I have heard them say things like, children should be able to hear 'both

sides' of the argument so that they can have informed choice in the

matter, as though creationism is somehow a legitimate argument to

science, as though creationism is somehow on a level playing field

science. That's like thinking that kindergarten is on the same level as

university.

These people are deeply unconscious, in no way are they fit to be making

decisions for themselves, much less making decisions that affect the

lives of others.

Creationism doesn't have a shred of evidence to support it so it

really can't be debated in schools.

It is indeed shocking and scary when people base their belief system

on an ideology that comes straight from the bronze age want to lead

the rest of into the future.

I am hoping that she was picked to please some of the seventy percent

of Americans that believe that Christ will coming back in their lifetime.

It is indeed scary.

It is even scarier when we consider that the same lunatics hold the keys

to nuclear war.

If seventy percept of Americans believe that Jesus will return in their

life times, then atleast 70 percent of Americans are insane.

Only a slightly smaller percentage believe in the devil.

.....and consider it impolite if it is brought up in conversation.

Don`t forget that EVERYTHING is a dream.

This includes not only the stuff you`re talking about but the fact that you

think you`re that one talking about it.

IT`S ALL A DREAM....

it`s not happening!

Ha, ha! Close, but no cigar!

It's happening alright. A dream happens

while it last, but it won't last long,

and when it's gone, it's gone like smoke,

as if it never has been. It's a dream, yet

when it's happening, it's happening.

Don't kid yourself!

It's not happening? Try telling that to someone who just lost their

family or their home, tell that to someone in hospital suffering from

some painful or debilitating illness.

There's REAL life...THIS IS *IS* happening... and then there's our

thoughts ABOUT it... unreal...and has no validity unless we buy into it.

Like I'm worrying now about things coming up this week. It's not

real... but my feelings of worrying are.. and they may or may not come

*true*... Am I creating worry in the present based on *past*

experience? Is it going to change anything in my future? My past?

Just some *unpleasant* feelings in my present presence.

That all sounds very interesting, but having an all too real situation

occurring in the present is often not " just some unpleasant feeling. "

For example, how about I punch you in the face and lets see how " just an

unpleasant feeling in your present presence " that is. I can almost

gurantee you would not be so enlightened in that moment.

Some times enlightened though, is just a lot of egotistical bullshit.

I wonder why an act of violence is always the deciding factor in

determining *presence* on these *spiritual* boards.

Enlightenment is not contingent on external factors... however, the

need to procur violence to prove *spirituality* or one's *supriority*

over another's country, state, religion, sex, ethnicity, can hardly be

deemed *enlightened*.

Sad is the state of affairs when violence is the way/method to prove

and/or foster understanding.

do you believe that one should tell everything....to everyone?.....

if you don't expect to read something different in here.....than you

could hear & talk about in hospitals.....why you don't visit some

hospitals then?....

IT`S ALL ABOUT GOD....Parabrahman, THAT or whatever you call him.

IT`S not about 'I'...'ME " ...experiencing, being enlightened, this or that,

suffering, practice, knowing/not knowing.

The above is exactly the conclusion that people in extreme difficult

situations need to come to.

Yes....you start at the beginning to get to that amazement.

Who`s job is it to convince people of this when everybody and everything is

GOD?

Where would this convincing occur....when all times and circumstances ar GOD?

WHO would do anything when the inside and outside of ALL BEINGs is GOD?

The 'you' or 'me' that would have issues or problems here doesn`t exist.

No two so no problem

nonduality

You are a hundred percent right.

Except......... when the sense of self comes across such thinking it

will put it in a box and think that it is already all-that-is.

After the apperception of unicity......there is one more hurtle.
