Can you name anything positive about the belief in God?

Can you think of any evidence to support such a belief?

I no longer think of us as separate.

There is no god between us.

Say you were in a pitch black room.

If you wanted proof that there is a way out the answer might be to search for

some sign of light and examine it for it`s benefit.....this kind of thing.

I think this method applies to the GOD STUFF.

What`s been a light to me personally is NONDUALITY......VEDANTA.

It may not be everyones 'cup of tea'.

I suggest it.......

Look it up under 'Google'.

My teacher was Ranjit Maharaj.

I have personal knowledge on him.

How do you not seperate yourself from 'others' by thinking?

There is quite a difference between thinking and experience, isn't it?
