My FamilyIt's not easy to understand me and mine,

it's not easy to walk away without judgment

to say this is the way

and not that...

it's not easy to marry into all that

unconditional love,

to see our people come

and our people go

the heart is chambered door

and letting go

is not easy

there are sinners and drunks

vagabonds and earth's greatest losers,

picked up from every street

or crashed on to our shore

we are atheists cooking

the last meal

we weep in silence.
