SAIBANISA JI…….

 

I was on one night repenting for my inability to go

to Haridwar due to lack of funds. Sai appeared in my dream and said-“Do not

regret for not undertaking pilgrimage to Haridwar. Also do not borrow money

from others for the purpose. Open the gates of your inner heart and you will

find Sri Hari thereâ€. So saying Sai disappeared.

 

Since then I have learnt to believe that God resides

in our hearts. I am sure that even if Sai brings God along with Him to

Saidarbar, I shall firstly prostate to Sainath and then only worship God.

2. GENISIS OF SAIDARBAR:

Saidarbar

completes Ten years and enters the Eleventh year. We sincerely believe

that this milestone is achieved firstly due to the Grace of our beloved Guru

Sri Shirdi Sainath and secondly due to the excellent cooperation and support

rendered by our Sai brethren.

 

Saidarbar

is dream project of SAIBANISA who

had dedicated his total available time and untiring efforts for this cause, by

putting his mind and soul into it. Lord

Sainath appeared in the dream of Saibanisa on 24-12-1998 and instructed him to cut and distribute the SPIRITUAL CAKE TO THE WORLD. Saibanisa

was perplexed with the guideline and was not able to conclude anything from the

message. A close associate Sri.Srinivas

Katta then gave out his opinion that, perhaps Baba wanted him to spread SAI PHILOSOPHY across the world through

the media of INTERNET.

 

Thus

Saidarbar was born on 25-12-1998 and has grown to the present position where it is acclaimed as AT HOME

by many of its cross section of Readership. Internet was just making its entry

into Andhra Pradesh, India. He put his entire burden on Baba and started with a web site and

brought it today’s position with the help of Saisevak SrinivasaRao Kasturi and other Saibandhus across the

Globe. Every one working for Saidarbar is very much aware that all

this not possible without blessings and Grace of Baba. There were many

obstacles and tough times faced by the team and I am grateful to Saibanisa for

the trust placed in us and the freedom of speech given to us. At this juncture

I cannot but recollect my fond association with Gopala Rao Ravada (Saibanisa) for the last thirty five years in official,

personal and spiritual matters. Lastly I pray Baba to shower HIS blessings on

all HIS devotees and look forward for Saidarbar to celebrate many more

anniversaries in the future to come under the able guidance of Saibanisa.

 

I

hereby acknowledge gratefully the Readership and all those responsible for the

success story of Saidarbar.

have always been spiritually enlightened after reading "The Glory of

Shirdi Sai". It is something that I am sure every Sai Devotee eagerly

looks forward to every second Thursday. For me, reading it is nothing short of

praying to our beloved Sai. I especially enjoy reading Sai Banisaji's

experiences and teachings. They are put together in a very simple and easy to

understand format.

 

I

also enjoy the interpretation and analysis of the chapters from the Sat

Charitra. It gives me a different flavor of Sat Charitra's understanding. The

child in me also enjoys reading the stories by Madhu Auntie.

any doubt I can say that Saidarbar spearheaded the effort to spread Sai Baba's

Philosophy and Teachings with great dedication and hard work. From accepting

Baba's call to spread His teachings to a wider audience, launch of Saidarbar

website, numerous spiritual discourses in India and abroad; Saibanisa has done all this with lot of

perseverance.

ugadi (2008) I unexpectedly, out of blue, received a post and an email from

Saibanisaji. When I opened the post, it was Saibanisa Ji's recitations of

various Sai Kirtanas and his interpretations of various Holy Scriptures in

relation to Sai Satcharitra.

 

I

think that was not a mere coincidence, to receive something from Sai on an

auspicious day.

 

I

thank Saibanisa Ji deeply for his effort to spread faith and devotion in the

world and my pranams to My Dearest Lord SaiBaba.

"Sai Darbar" is one of the ways Sri Sai is singing His story and

reaching multitude of lives and is continuing His mission. It is very good

fortune that in our Sai journey, we [me and my wife] were pulled to attend the

"Sai Utsav" in Chicago,

where we met Sai Banisa Uncle for the first time. We also were fortunate

audience to his discourses and received the love and inspiration of Sai through

uncle.

 

It

is really our fortune to know of Sai Darbar and partake Saibanisa uncle's

experiences and dreams. This is an occasion to thank Sai Baba in inspiring

uncle to influence many lives through the self-less mission of Sai Darbar and

uncle's efforts in spreading and sharing his knowledge of Sri SaiBaba.

associated for about last 6 years with Saidarbar, mainly helping out in the 3d

technology. During this time I also got an opportunity to visit Saidarbar, Hyderabad and have darshan of Sai.

The

4. SAI'S NEWS FROM THE TIME MACHINE:

 

25th December, 1910: Lala Lakshmichand of Santacruz came to Shirdi.

 

December,

1911: Kashinath Upasani composed the famousâ€Shri Sainath Mahima Sthostra"

in Sanskrit

 

December,

1911: Bubonic plague raged at Shirdi. (Lasted up to March 15 next year).

 

5th December,

1911 : Dadasaheb Khaparde of

Amraoti arrived at Shirdi again with family and stayed there for three months

in Shirdi.

32. Significance of Meditation

 

Preliminaries

to Meditation

 

Baba

said to one of His devotees:â€Have complete faith in Me and give away your wants

to Me. Who asked you to suffer? While I am showing the right path, you are

going in a wrong way. If you have such confidence in Me, I shall reveal all the

secrets relating to My Philosophy. Perpetual Meditation is the way of your

life. Qualities like anger, grief, and greed are making you restless. By

constant meditation you can get rid of them. Selfless deeds and thoughts purify

your mind. Practice this thru your meditation. â€

 

Baba

also says: “Those who take complete refuge in Me and think of Me always in

meditation, they are able to see the Universe in their bodies and passions of

mind as Chaitanya, but I will also show various colorful visions, sounds and

other worlds in their meditation. To those who manage to see the external world

as inert in meditation, I will show to such people the place of ‘Diwividya

Tyagi’ – I am the ‘Adwaitha Brahman’.â€

6. IN THE DAYS OF SHRI SHIRDI SAIBABA

 

How Shri Marthand, a tailor fared in

adhearing Baba’s Advice:

 

Shri

Marthand, a tailor, in Shirdi was once suffering very much and there was nobody

to look after him. He laid down helpless in the way in which Baba used to pass

through to the Lendi. Baba on seeing him told him to go to Neemgaom and meet

Shri Nanasaheb Dengle who will look after him willingly. Accordingly he had

gone to Neemgaom and met Shri Nanasaheb Dengle. He told Marthand “That

Baba had already told him in his dream about the arrival and requested him to

treat him in his house as his own and be there without any troubleâ€. After

receiving very good treatments, he was fully recovered and came to Shirdi back

and felt ever grateful to Baba.

Baba converted Shri Jahangir Patil

into a Devotee

 

Shri

VasantRao Narayan of Bombay came to Shirdi for Baba’s darshan often and often. He

has given Baba’s photo to Jahangir patil, a Parsi criticizer of Baba. This

Jahangir has got a subordinate co worker Shri Limaye in his office who was also

a Baba’s devotee. He used to criticize his co-workers with this photo of Baba.

Limaye asked Shri VasantRao as to why he has given Baba’s photo to this

Jahangir, Shri VasantRao told Limaye that he has given Baba’s photo with the

aim that Baba would surely set him in the righteous path.

 

Accordingly

after some days Jahangir came weeping to Vasant Rao and handed over some

dakshina to him to hand it over to Baba. Then Shri Vasant Rao brought him

to Shri Kaka sahib dixit and handed over the dakshina amount. On the

Gurupoornima day of 1918, all these went to Shirdi and got Baba’s darshan. Thus

a criticizer of Baba became stanch devotee of Baba.

7. SPIRITUAL GEMS FROM SAI

Chapter XXXI

 

The

Passing Away In Baba's Presence of - (1) Sannyasi Vijayanand - (2) Balaram

Mankar - (3) Noolkar - (4) Megha - and (5) The Tiger.

 

(2) Balaram Mankar

 

There

was a house-holder devotee of Baba by name Balaram Mankar. When his wife passed

away, he got dejected and entrusting his household to his son, left his home

and came to Shirdi and lived with Baba. Being pleased with his devotion, Baba

wanted to give a good turn to his life and He did this in this wise. He gave

him Rs. 12/- and asked him to go and live in Macchindragad (District Satara).

Mankar was first unwilling to go and stay away from Baba, but Baba convinced

him that he was giving the best course for him and asked him to practise

mediation thrice a day on the Gad. Believing in Baba's words, Mankar came to

the Gad. He was much pleased with the lovely sight, pure water, healthy air and

the surroundings of the place, and began to practice assiduously the

meditations as recommended by Baba. After some days he got a revelation.

Generally Bhaktas get revelation in their Samadhi or trance states, but in

Mankar's case he got it, when he came down to his ordinary consciousness from

his trance. Baba appeared to him in person. Not only that Mankar saw Him, but

he also asked Him why he was sent there. Baba replied - "In Shirdi many

thoughts and ideas began to rise in your mind and I sent you here to rest your

unsteady mind. You thought that I was in Shirdi with a body composed of the

five elements and three and a half cubits in length, and not outside of it. Now

you see and determine for yourself whether the person you see here now is the

same you saw at Shirdi. It is for this reason that I sent you here."

 

SSG:

Sai Ram. This is a real Spiritual Gem. This and a few more testify to Baba’s

oneness with the Paramatma and His freedom from the constraints of time, space

and physical body etc. Most of the time, Baba did not reveal His true nature

and pretended to be a simple servant of God. But He gave a few indications like

this and a few more at few places to deserving disciples and through them we

too got these gems. Sai Ram.

 

SSS:

Then after the period was over, Mankar left the Gada and proceeded to his

native place Bandra. He wanted to travel by rail from Poona to Dadar, but when

he went to the booking office to get a ticket, he found it very much crowded.

He could not get his ticket soon, when; a villager with a langoti (piece of

cloth) on his waist and kambali on his shoulder turned up and said -

"Where are your going?To Dadar." replied Mankar. Then he

said - "Please take this Dadar ticket of mine; as I have some urgent

business here, I have cancelled my Dadar trip." Mankar was very glad to

receive the ticket and was just taking out money from his pocket, when the

rustic disappeared in the crowd. Mankar tried to find him out in the crowd, but

it was in vain. He waited for him till the train left the station but found no

trace of him. This was the second revelation Mankar got in a strange form. Then

Mankar after visiting his home again returned to Shirdi and remained there at

Baba's feet, always following His biddings and advice. In the end, he was very

fortunate to leave this world in the presence, and with the blessings of Baba.

Yes, he was indeed very fortunate and we are indeed fortunate to know a little

more about the Leelas of Baba through this wonderful story. Sai Ram.
