It always IS It is you who gives meaning to this word awareness. obviously! . Mind thoughts imagination operates in Consciousness. you who perceives the world, thoughts, him/herself is the ever changing consciousness. There is no you to know who you are. Anything perceived is done by you. who is this you? Its ever changing, has gaps, it is illusion cause its done within the frame of consciousness where everything rises and falls.
