You have to work for the worm, but few want to eat the worm. In other words, we are fascinated by change and novelty, and pretend to search for the immutable. If we can't look at our own face for more than a few minutes without losing interest, how are we to see that that has no qualities and doesn't change? Our bodies and minds are change, the universe itself is change. The immutable sees itself as change, and doesn't recognize itself. So we must deeply understand change to unearth the immutable worm. Here are some more questions: Can there be space without objects? If there existed a one particle universe, would space exist? Only in a two particle universe can space be said to exist. See? Creation requires duality. A universe of one God particle is barren, it needs to explode into multiplicity and change to give birth. So this universe is the son of a barren woman, as Maharaj used to say of seekers. Can you know yourself as change and see what doesn't change? God is the Multiple One. God is the unchanging change. The Absolute is the Multiple None. Ah, there is the worm. Yum!
