'self' aggrandizing stuff like meditatin' and so forth. s'matter 'a fact.. it's the biggest show in town.. and the biggest swindle in the universe. the TRUTH is vastly grander. so anyway i submit that as long as there is perceived to be.. an entity which considered as a 'who'.. is somewhere around and can 'do' this meditation stuff.. the whole premise is screwed up. reminds me of the ghostly catechism stories of the nuns years ago. fun stuff! thanks, ..b b.b. If you are familiar with his tank experiences tell us about it. What I was trying to convey is that there is two basic conscious experiences: a)The bombardment of passing sensations. b)The total absence of sensations. The brain can't really grasp total absence of sensations. It sees it as unconsciousness, or a nothingness. Basically, mentally, that's what we are, sensations appearing and dissolving in emptiness.
