Guest guest
There are two ways that the mind of man deals with its perceptual input. The Logos deals with a scientific approach in which the mind's efforts are channeled into discovering the nature of reality by logical deduction of observable-repeatable data that is subject to peer review and criticism. The logos is populated with speculations.....theories.....and educated guesses. It has given us modern medicine.........the airplane......and reading glasses. The Mythos is an intuitive structure based on fearful speculations concerning all things unknown. It evolves and is reinforced based only on its power to assuage the innate fear of death. The Mythos is populated by angels......demons.......and gods. It has given us....................... ............hummmmmmmmm........... ......well..............other than a false sense of security.........I can't think of anything. Most of mankind prefer the Mythos. That way.....they don't have to think too much. toombaru
