Guest guest
When the survival-reproductive program is seen for what it is.......when the self..........when all selves are seen as closed mnemonic loops.....everything remains pretty much the same. Selves........including one's own.......scurry about in the shadowland of their own personal dream......rooting around.......searching for their own fulfillment. They do what they are programmed to do to survive. But now.....something watches......with dispassion.......interested........but not directly involved in the game or concerned with its outcome. The tapestry is vast.....intricate......and breathtakingly beautiful...... .........and it is seen as who one is.

Hi toombaru, Seems like there might be an analogy between "who/what" the *me* is and a "dictionary" in which all the words are defined in terms of other words (i.e., self-referential), none of them having any "meaning" or "existence" on their own. Any thoughts about this? Beyond that.........there is only the ever-fresh-un-named-un-nameable. One cannot speak of that or even point to that simply because the one speaking and pointing is itself a product of the conceptual process. It's a hell of a problem that is no problem at all. (.b b.b.) algorithmic control systems with active feedback loops ain't thought. thought plays with them. no-self required. there is nothing to which a self can self-refer. unless of course it's deluded. i see where you're coming from now. > Thought can only take one to the edge. (.b b.b.) there is no such one and no such edge. that thought may be comforting. but to whom? > Beyond that.........there is only the ever-fresh-un-named-un-nameable. (.b b.b.) phantasmagoria always seeks a " beyond " . beyond what? IT'S all here now. just the phantom is not. there is nothing to look forward to. it's as plain and clear as the sense of awareness. nothing special. eating, eliminating waste, sleeping, goofing around. there is no more. and it's name is Wonderful. > One cannot speak of that or even point to that simply because the one > speaking and pointing is itself a product of the conceptual process. > > It's a hell of a problem that is no problem at all. > > > LOL (.b b.b.) that's right. no problem at all. trying to mystify it is almost comical.
