These are the dream sequences and messages as

received by SaiBaNiSaji From our beloved GURU LORD SAINATH OF SHIRDI. In

Anticipation that this feature will help in one's spiritual growth are hereby

compiled from his personal Diary and presented to SAIBANDHUS.

Translated and presented by RAGHU RAMAN

SATULURY.

MAY -1996

08-05-1996

Yesterday night, Sai appeared in the form of a

fakir and said-

I have examined your heart, put it into the

dhuni at Dwarakamayi, refined and put it back into your body. I was able to

observe the gratitude in your eyes for the gesture.

I could recollect the performance of Khandayoga

by Baba as mentioned in Satcharita.

Agni (fire) symbolizes

purification.

10-05-1996

Yesterday, Sai appeared as an old Brahmin and

said-

The prayers and perambulations offered by you

in the childhood days in Param Shiva temple, Kakinada (a town in Andhra Pradesh, India) are now being

rewarded. Peace and patience are very essential for quick progress, even more

than the diet. Give them utmost priority.

Every deed good or bad is

4. QUINTESSENCE

OF SRI SAIBABA'S PHILOSOPHY:

(By Late Sri Bharam UmamaheswaraRao)

"Shashi": shashi_31

32. Significance of Meditation

Preliminaries to Meditation

How to Practice Concentration

on God Daily?

If we meditate on Baba either as Himself or as

formless, we will get Ananda. Think of this day and night. With such meditation

the mind dissolves into unity. Then the difference between Baba and ourselves

and the act of contemplation is lost. Sai Baba’s glance is bread and milk for

the pupil.

After crossing the mire of delusion, when our

intellect has become steadfast and firm in meditation, then we will attain

Self-Realization or Union with God.

We must sit in meditation devoting with heart

and soul after controlling all our senses, we should not feel proud of our

sense control because pride goes before downfall. Without developing egoism, we

must feel that it is only God’s grace. By divine grace, we must denote

ourselves thinking that He is God and God is his, while he is neither of the

worlds nor the world is his.

Delusion is born of egoism, the sense of mine

or desire. To accept the body as ‘I’ or ‘Mine’ is delusion born out of egoism.

Sri Sai Baba also said: Meditation is many lakh

times superior to Manana and Sravana. All of you should move with fraternal

feeling. Divine knowledge can be attained by constant meditation. Meditation is

philosophical feast.

5. IN THE DAYS OF SHRI SHIRDI SAIBABA

Baba

cured the Vomittings of Shri Krishnaji Narayan Alias Chottu Bhaiya saheb

Parulkar

Shri

Krishnaji Narayan alias Chottu Bhaiya Bhaiya saheb Parulkar was suffering from

Vomittings as and when he took meals. He has consulted all the doctors, but in

vain. Shri S.R.Pattavardhan, a friend of his father has sent a well

known Doctor from Nagpur for his proper treatment. The Doctor gave him three

small packets of medicine for taking them one in the morning, one in the noon and one in the night.

After

taking it as prescribed by the doctor, he gone to motions for several times

that he was not even able to walk by 8 P.M and became so weak that all were

afraid of him then the Doctor went to his Puja room and prayed the Almighty and

gave medicine to stop motions.

After

taking these medicines his motions and vomitings have stopped from 11 A.M. The Doctor told his father that no medicine will cure

his vomitings except that of the grace of a Blessed soul. After 5 to 6 years of

this incidence, Mr.Parulkar had the chance to come to Shirdi and took darshan

of Baba. Neither himself nor any body has spoken to Baba about his affair.

During

his next trip to Shirdi i.e. on a Guru Pournima day, he again met Baba with his

brother and a third person was sitting before Baba by about 4 P.M. At that time one Mousibai came there. Baba asked her

“why you come lateâ€. Mousibai replied “Baba, you made me to vomit much often

and hence I came lateâ€. Baba told her “That’s because you eat much, you have to

vomit muchâ€. For this Mousi Bai told “Baba I am vexed up with so much

vomitingâ€. Baba told her pointing to Parulkar that this man also vomiting for

many years. On hearing this Parulkar’s brother requested Baba to stop the

vomitings of his brother. Baba told him that his brother did not vomit

hereafter and from that time Baba uttered these words, his vomittings have

stopped and he ever felt thankful to Baba.

NEWS FROM SAIDARBAR – HYDERABAD

Saidarbar-TV

channel-Internet World TV

Sairam,

Saidarbar came into existence on 25-12-1998. With the blessings of Sri Shirdi Sainath and due to

the untiring efforts of Saibanisa Gopala Rao Ravada, Saidarbar came to today's

position. Saidarbar made a modest beginning in the media of Internet through a

free website and very soon took shape as www.saidarbar.org

with the sole purpose to serve Shirdi Sai devotees.

Later

on 01-01- 2003 e-magazine The Glory of Shirdi Sai was started as per

suggestions received from a section of devotees. http://www.saidarbar.org/glory.htm

due to Sai's grace, the E - magazine is well received and appreciated by

one and all with a wide readership. Due to the over-whelming response, the

fortnightly magazine was later con-verted into 3D- page turning format with the

active help and technical support rendered by Sri.Vijay Agarwal from Saidarbar

Schwenksville Chapter.

Again

bowing down before our well wishers, on 01-08-2008 http://saibanisa.blogspot.com was started catering

the spiritual needs of Sai devotees spread over Eighty one countries.

On completion of one decade of Saidarbar movement, Saibanisaji's spiritual

Discourses were neatly brought out in Mp3 for-mat audio CD's in English and

Telugu languages. We are ever grateful to Lord Sainath for the good response

received from Sai devotees for these CD's. Not stopping with these activities,

we have marched further and gone in for creation of Saidarbar channel in

Internet World Television. The channel is in operation from today

i.e.Thursday-12-02-2009.

6. DEVOTEES

EXPERIENCES:

D. Sankaraiah, Hyderabad,

India, sainama

An

Atheist Builds Sai Mandir (Though this was published article in Shree Saileela

25 years ago now written from a different angle for the benefit innumerable Sai

devotees of the present day. Let us note the divine hand of Sri Sainath). Shri

Keshav Ramachandra Pradhan, a native of Bhivapuri road near Mumbai was a noted

atheist. Sai Maharaj in his own mysterious way pulled him to Shirdi and turned

into a staunch believer as narrated below. He was pulled to Shirdi through his

friend who was a regular visitor to Shirdi. Pradhan also used to go to Manmad,

Kopergaon on official work.

Once he had agreed to accompany his friend to

Shirdi on that condition that he should not be forced to see Baba. They rented

a room. Pradhan stayed back. At 12'0 clock noon Arati bells began

to ring. This sound had magnetic effect on Pradhan by dragging him towards

Dwarakamai. Pradhan went into trance after stepping into the place.

After Arati all left except Pradhan. Baba

called him near and asked for dakshina. He had an amount of rupees two thousand

and five hundred rupees including money collected on behalf of his employer. In

that trance he gave entire amount. He was at a loss as to do what after coming

to normalcy from trance. He was short of cash for going to Bombay except a gold

ring. He engaged a Tonga and gave gold ring

for sale. A tall suited gentleman who observed this not only paid Tonga fare but also

purchased ticket for Bombay. (Dear Readers who

could be the gentleman?) On his return to Bhivanipuri he sent a letter to his

employer stating he was unwell. The employer replied that he could attend the

office later as he received double the amount. This news made the 'atheist' in

Pradhan to disappear.

The tiny seed of devotion sown at Shirdi has

sprouted. Pradhan prayed "Oh! Baba I am a sinner. So far I remained away

from you and did not yield to the request of my friend to come to your lotus

feet but you have now favored me by your grace and I am sure all my sins must

have now been wiped out." In one of Pradhan's visits to Shirdi in 1916

Baba handing him over a replica of himself said, "Go back to Bhivapuri,

build a temple and place this replica there. Start all the functions there and

do not come here." (Beloved readers this reveals that Baba had approved

construction of temple for him. His replica is as powerful as he is and

celebration of all functions also was approved by Baba. I feel it was the first

Sai Mandir built during Baba's physical presence at Shirdi- If not, please

enlighten us on this point) He did not comply with Baba's instructions and went

to Shirdi. Baba questioned "when I have come to your house why have you

come here? Bhivapuri is your Shirdi now? (Readers! Shirdi is the place wherever

Baba rests. Baba rests where there is full devotion.)

It is confirmed Baba's dictum those who think I

am at Shirdi have not understood me). This remark of Babaji awakened Pradhan a

temple amidst good natural surroundings was built. Not only Pradhan but also

his guests felt the presence of Baba in the mandir. People heard opening of the

doors at 12 midnight and closing of the

doors at 3 am. Pradhan built a

beautiful shrine room, a spacious hall, a wide verandah and a guesthouse.

Sai-intoxicated soul in Pradhan left this earth in 1939 leaving the

responsibilities of upkeep of mandir to his sons, son-in-law. On account of

heavy inflow of devotees it was planned for further expansion. The work was

held up in the middle for want of funds. Sri Narayana Purohit resorted to the

feet of Sai Baba through parayana of Sri Satcharita. After four days SaiBaba

appeared in the dream of Pradhan and asked, "Where is my dhuni? If there

is no dhuni how can this be Shirdi? How will the temple be completed?" As

this dream was repeated Sri Purohit informed the trustees who had erected dhuni

which was inaugurated by the grand son of Shri Dhabolkar on 7-04-1949.

Afterwards a devotee offered to pay all

the expenditure of the roof and other structure. (Now we learn that dhuni is a

must for Shirdi Sai temple. Secondly Sri Sai Satcharita parayana is a means to

seek Sai's grace and instructions).

CHILDREN:

http://www.saidarbar.org/HTML/portraits/7.jpg

Smt. Madhu Gopal Ravada,

Saidarbar, Hyderabad.

Hello Children! I am Madhu aunty.

Do you know Baba use to play with children and used to tell stories to them? I

felt children visiting Saidarbar should be entertained with good stories. Now I

want to tell the stories what heard in my child hood.

Let's See On Which Side the Camel Sits

Once a greengrocer and a potter jointly hired a

camel and each filled one side of the pannier with his goods. The camel as he

went along the road took a mouthful every now and then, as he had a chance,

from the greengrocer's bag of vegetables. This provoked a laugh from the

potter, who thought he had the best of the bargain.

But the time came for the camel to sit, and he

naturally sat on the heavier side, bearing down on the pots, and also to have

his mouth free to operate on the bag of greens. This caused the pots to break

in the bag, and then the green grocer had all the laugh to himself.

GEMS FROM SAI SATCHARITRA

Shri Sai Satcharitra

Chapter XXXII

In Quest of Guru and God - Fasting Disapproved.

In this Chapter Hemadpant describes two things: - (1) How Baba met His Guru in

the woods, and through him God; and (2) How Baba made one Mrs. Ghokhale, who

had made up her mind to fast for three days, eat Puran-Polis.

SSG: Sai Ram. This chapter, like the others before and those to follow is

entertaining and at the same time, instructional. Sai Ram.

Though he spoke so tenderly, we discarded his request and

marched on. We thought that we were self-contained men and needed nobody's

help. The woods were vast and trackless; the trees therein grew so close and

tall, that the sun's rays could not penetrate through them; so we lost our way

and wandered here and there for a long time. Ultimately through sheer good

luck, we came back to the place from were we started. The Vanjari met us again

and said, "Relying on your own cleverness you missed your way; a guide is

always necessary to show us the right way in small or great matters; and no

quest can be successfully carried out on an empty stomach. Unless God wills it,

no one meets us on the way. Do not discard offers of food; served dish should

not be thrust away. Offers of bread and food should be regarded as auspicious

signs of success."

Sai Ram. The ego has the limited perception and can’t see beyond.

The seekers were in forest (literally and figuratively since the samasara is

like a forest) and were in darkness, literally and spiritually too. The Guru,

disguised as Vanjari was trying to seek out and help them. The food offered was

not only physical but Brahna Jnana and He was suggesting that such offers come

only because of our merits in past and should not be neglected. But our egos

have their own destinies. Sai Ram.

Saying this he again offered us food and asked us to be calm and

patient. Again we did not like this good hospitality and discarded his offer

and went away. Without doing any quest and without taking any food, the three

began to move out. So obstinate were they. I was hungry and thirsty and I was

moved with the Vanjari's extraordinary love; we thought ourselves very learned

but were quite strangers to pity and kindness. The Vanjari was a quite

illiterate and unqualified fellow and belonged to a low caste. Still he had

love in his heart and asked us to eat the bread. In this way he who loves

others disinterestedly is really enlightened and I thought acceptance of his

hospitality was the best beginning of getting knowledge. So very respectfully I

accepted the loaf of bread offered, ate it and drank water.

Sai Ram. Baba was already beyond the Three Gunas (the three who

went away!) and was ready for the ultimate enlightenment. He was already a

Pandita, a Samadarsi (the Vanjari was also Samadarsi, Yama who rides a bullock

probably). Annam ParaBrahma Swaroopam goes the saying. So,

Sai accepted the Para Brahma by accepting the food. Sai Ram.

9. ARTICLES FROM

SAI DEVOTEES

Gurugita-Saisatcharita

Sairam,

Today's discourse is therefore centered on my aim to

project similarities between Gurugita and Sri Sai Satcharita

In the 24th sloka of Gurugita ------------

Param Siva said to Parvathi-"Oh dear, a

Sadhak observing all rituals like Japa, Tapa, Vrata, Yagna, and Dhana all turn

out to be useless without understanding Guru and his teachings properly.

Therefore we should understand our Guru very well

before beginning any rituals so as to derive the full benefits.

The same message was conveyed by Shirdi Sai Baba

in the chapter -32 of Sri Sai Satcharita. He said, "Bookish knowledge is

of no use. We should fully discharge all our responsibilities. Treat Guru as

God and place your heart and soul at the feet of the Guru". To get such a

belief one must have firm faith in his Guru.

In the 38th Sloka of Gurugita,

---------------------------, Where ever Guru's service is undertaken, that

place is as sacred as Gaya. Gurudev's lotus feet are the same as the feet of the

Lord Vishnu. The heart and soul offered at the Lord's feet attain Brahma

Swaroopa.

The same essence is conveyed in the chapter- 46 of Sri

Sai Satcharita. Shyama was an ardent devotee of Baba. He served Baba in

Dwarakamayi. He wanted to go to Gaya and asked for Baba's permission. Baba sent him as his

representative for attending thread ceremony of Kaka sahib Dikshit's son at Nagpur and marriage of eldest son of Nana saheb Chandorkar

in Gwalior. Shyama was then to proceed to Kashi, Prayag

and Gaya for his pilgrimage. Baba said-

"By the time you complete your journey to

Kashi and Prayag, I shall meet you in Gaya". Indirectly Baba wanted to say that Dwarakamayi

is Gaya for Sai devotees.

Shyama performed Guruseva in Dwarakamayi. So Baba

appeared to Shyama in the form of His photograph in Gaya .Baba thus conveyed that Shyama had the dual benefit

of seeing Baba in Gaya and Dwarakamayi.

Baba demonstrated to Dasgunu maharaj that his feet are

Lord Vishnu's feet by bringing the holy rivers of Ganga

and Yamuna to Dwarakamayi itself. Thus devotees who surrendered totally to the

feet of Sainath were experiencing Para-Brahma in Sai.

Let us listen Slokas 80 and 81 of

Gurugita----------------------------,

Only Guru can help us tide over the

difficulties. We should bow down before him with full respect. Guru himself is

an embodiment of the world.

In chapter -33 of Sri Sai Satcharita, Nana saheb

Chandorkar's daughter Mainatayi was suffering from labour pains. Baba

accompanied Bapugir bua in role of a Tongawala. He sent udhi from Dwarakamayi

through Bapugir bua to Nana saheb Chandorkar and saved her.

Again in the chapter- 7 of Sri Sai Satcharita, on

the day of Diwali, Baba put his hand into the burning fire of dhuni in

Dwarakamayi and saved the child of a blacksmith who had accidentally fallen

into fire from mother's lap. We thus conclude the presence of guru everywhere.

Let us listen to Sloka -113 of Gurugita

----------------------,

We should bow down before a Sampoorna

Guru. A Sampoorna Guru is the one who always wears white clothes and

decorated with flowers and sandal wood paste. He should be wise, wear a pearl

necklace, look cheerful in appearance, and possess attractive eyes. He should

sit on His left thigh like Lord Siva, full of compassion and a gentle smile on

the face.

We can come across this message in the chapter

-22 of Sri Sai Satcharita. Let us see how. Baba is seated on the granite stone.

What a pleasant sight it is. His right leg is resting on the left leg's knee.

Throughout his life Baba always wore white Kafini. Mahelsapathi applied

Sandalwood paste to his neck. When people chanted Sej- Arati in Chavadi,

devotees put pearl necklace around his neck. Let us all recollect those

beautiful things and enjoy to our heart's contentment imagining the Guru's

divya swaroopa.

In the Sloka -179 of Gurugita-

---------------------------Those who walk on the path shown by Guru are sure to

attain salvation. All those who desire to work for self realization must have

devotion towards their Guru.

The same message is conveyed in the chapter- 31 of Sri

Sai Satcharita. The people who attained Moksha in Sai's darbar are Vijayanad,

Balaram Mankar, Sub-Judge of Pandaripur-Tatya saheb Noolkar, and Meghashyam..

Let us also follow the footsteps shown by our Sadhguru and work towards

achieving something worthy in this life.

We can get more

information from Saibanisa's discourses on “Gurugita-Saisatcharitaâ€.

Thanks for the great information.

I always believed that Sai has some connection

with Shiva and have a feeling that he is guiding and helping me in all my

difficulties just as a loving mom would do that for her child.

You ask and he is ever ready to offer, you

don’t ask then also he has his firm hand placed so as to bring me

back from the wrong path to the correct path and getting injured

He creates a conducive & joyful

environment. In searching for him is he wandering in every pulse and

trying to slowly remove the negative thoughts and introducing positive thoughts

by giving daily demonstration? Or giving lessons of the Maha Yoga as told by Krishna to Arjuna. He is

indeed the un-manifested in the manifest and a living live entity in the un-

manifested world.
