When I go fishing......some of the creatures are caught on the surface.

They generally put up a good fight.

Some live deep in the dark parts of the lake.

They are large as slow.

It is only their weight that makes them a difficult catch.

It is so dark where they live that their eyes no longer function.

When they are pulled out of the depths into the light.......their gills grope

for air...........as they stare blankly into the darkness.

I generally release them and they slowly sink back to the bottom to live out

their lives in the inky-deep.

P: Nice! But what if... there is no fisherman,

and you're both, the hook and the catch. Then,

who is throwing who, back?

i know exactly how you felt.

it was one of the first movies my brothers took me along..

to " see " with them.

the " Rosedale " Theater on Woodward.

the wonderful and magical fountain in the lobby...

throwing pennies in assured good luck i was informed.

the look and smell of that flowing and cascading wate..

ahhhhhhhhhh!

the smell of buttery popcorn..

pushing all the buttons on the soda pop dispenser..

getting a one of a kind tootie fruitie fizzy drink.

then into the dark..

the big screen..

the MONSTER!

i lost all my tootie fruitie fizzy on the floor.

my brothers didn't want to take me to the movies anymore.

I'm still afraid of soft drink dispensers to this day.
