Guest guest
In Southern Asia, it's customary to dress up and adorn Buddha statues. Maybe, that's an admission that a naked sage becomes invisible. Only a spiritual adelantado (those conquistadors put in charge of unexplored territories) can perceive naked divinity. So, we adorn our saints, gurus, sages, and idols with virtues and powers they really don't posses. We like to think they can heal our minds and bodies and give wisdom just with their presence. People are lazy, they don't want to sweat their own salvation. They rather get it as a gift. It's an universal conspiracy. The priest, the rulers, and the populace conspiring to keep ignorance and laziness alive. We can understand why priests and rulers don't want the masses to think for themselves, why they prefer their followers to accept them as the bringers of salvation. But ask yourself, why would you want to participate in that charade? Simple! You want to be a child, and have parents that provide, and to keep your dreams and play, and not to have to stare into an unforgiving, naked light.
