Guest guest
from another group.. Jan's dead and he ain't coming back. just to clear up which JC it is referred to herein. disciple's epistle #1 Groups and their remnants Posted by: " fmraerdy Sat Apr 25, 2009 2:56 pm (PDT) After the leader of a " movement " dies - regardless of the major/minor primary/secondary topics presented by that leader - those that remain always, without fail, bunch up into small groups. Those that bunch, do; those that drift away, don't. Those drift away have different possibilities than those that bunch. Those that bunch, always know each other's " address " , including emails, home and/or work, landline and/or cell, but once the bunch is " duly bunched " , each of them spend the remaining days or years of their lives talking to each other - one way or another - about what they think they " received " from their prior association. They call up each other and talk about these ideas, lumped together (generally, by the prior leader) into such terms as, " the work " , " this thing " , " waking up " , " getting enlightened " , " reaching nirvana " , etc. What they are inevitably doing - whether they realize this (ever) or not - is attempting to acquire the ability, or capacity, to continue the " movement " inside themselves, so that they " achieve (sooner) " the possibility of those that did not previously bunch. Get it? " Whoa nellie! I'm not 'doing that' " " Wait just a minute, you can't prove that. " " How do you know that? You don't know that. " " Etc., etc., etc. " Those that never bunched, are often viewed as losers by those that bunch, and " not worthy of joining their small group " . Those that never bunched, have no interest in joining a small group that would have them. This is the eternal human struggle of the lone wolf vs. the pack animals vs. the lone wolf vs. the pack animals... between the ears, that is. J.C. adherent epistle #2 Re: Groups and their remnants Posted by: derekhz Sat Apr 25, 2009 8:13 pm (PDT) There is another bunch, a third leg. That bunch does not discuss what went before, Not to each other, not even to ourselves, and just presents the actual video, audio, and text that was presented to them, on the Net with the understanding that such was always the case. There were never enough of us in the live audience, So Jan spoke to all those who could hear regardless of whether they were in the room or listening ten years later. ( and he says so on the tapes ) He knew that we knew that the video and audio would get distributed on the net. Otherwise - he would have just gone to an island somewhere..... and some of us knew that. So, until everything is on the net, and made approachable in some fashion Some of us will work to that end. While also blazing our own trails For our own amusement, our own focus. The statement that all group members fall into the 'cat'agories of 'lone wolf' vs 'pack animals' is what the mind does. It divides all things into two, not three, so the third ( at the very least) is always not seen. In this age of voice and video recording a Newbie doesn't need an intermediary, a priest, to interpret it for you. He or she can listen for themself. The only thing lacking is that he is not here to tell a newbie, precisely, how full of cr_p their mind is. ********************************************************************** see this is the problem with apostolic succession. especially when there isn't any. the best thing to do is nothing. that's not just where it's at.. it's where it never is. out of bounds bro'. ..b b.b.
