None of us has a self model that is truly independent of the perceived other.

 

The phenomenal self models are intimately coupled on the functional level.

 

There is a " shared manifold " in which the perceived other actually becomes an

extension of the sense of self.

 

The " compassionate " act is nothing but result of mirror neurons soothing their

own distress.

However, the *result* of compassionate mirror neurons is what birthed Nis, Naz,

And Ramana as well as countless others... including you and me... it's what

peoples these lists and what gives life to these lists....it's also what makes

life worth living in RL.

 

It would be a pretty dismal dream without it.

 

Compassion is another word for love-in-action.

A far better model is that of " dynamic information system. "
