P.S. although it's basically irrelevant, I've never heard *anyone* talk about multiple awarenesses before, aside perhaps when postulating multiple separate 'selves' (i.e. asserting duality). I've certainly never heard anyone talk about it in an individual context, e.g. " each object has its own awareness " . Can you go into more detail about what you mean? Are you suggesting that here and now, multiple awarenesses exist simultaneously?
Guest guest
Not " really. " Nothing really exists here, except how we construct it. So " really " is construct, is a useful illusion. What isn't illusion is made into illusion once we talk about it. Anyway, why not construct multiple awarenesses. This is closer to my experience (okay, I'm laughing now, my experience is a construct too, I admit it) ... Awareness is there when a thing or quality is there. But there is nothing making that the same awareness as when something else is there. There's nothing making it a different awareness either. So, I guess it's just a device to say even " awareness " goes ... much as I love it ... even " nothing " goes ... Okay, now that's out of the way. Let's talk about movies. Tom Hanks is bugging me lately. (Just kidding.) Nisargadatta , " Tim G. " <fewtch wrote: > > Nisargadatta , " Tim G. " <fewtch@> wrote: > > > > What unifying constructs? Something is not there at the same time something else is there. From here, this is why there's only awareness, not " awarenesses " . There's only awareness now, not multiple awarenesses. And there is nothing else but now. Therefore, now is awareness, unsplit, and no construct unifying anything. There is not a past awareness, or a future awareness, thus no multiple awarenesses, and no unifying constructs have been used.

There is not a past awareness, or a future awareness, thus no multiple awarenesses, and no unifying constructs have been used. There's not something here. And there's not nothing here. And there's not something else that neither is something nor nothing.

Dan, I find both your constructions and deconstructions boring. I'm here for entertainment, or at least I was before I d (which will likely be a fact by the time you read this). Enjoy the list.
