This is most hopeless group I came across.Under heading of Shri Nisargadatta useless discussions on DVAITA ( Diversity ) going on.I condemn this.I request moderator to ban such nonsense.-- Split-mind must be in abeyance, and 'we' must be absent for Awareness to be present.

This is not a saint worship site. As for the dvaita (diverse) users, even if

they tried i don't think they'd be very good at saint worshipping. This is not

an Advaita theology school seminar level class either. Even if they tried they'd

forget to say Shri each time and fail miserably. This is not a very subtle new

age " look at my pretty Advaitan pearls " type of intellectual group either. I

can't really say we are beyond all that and i can't claim this is a site for

those who are cured of the religion disease. One thing that i know is that i

started this group for the love of Maharaj's words. Since it's a group and i

hardly ever post, the rest is up to the users. I don't have the interest to

shape anyone's model of reality. In other words it's what you make of it. If you

don't like it then blame yourself.

The conceptual self....the I am....evolved simply because it helps the physical

organism survive and reproduce.

It is a phantom that functions to search out those things that can fulfill its

insatiable desire for happiness and to avoid those events that could harm itself

or its gene pool.

It is a survival program...an overlay.

If it is hope you seek.......go to your local church, synagogue or mosque.

They will fill your soul so full you can hardly function.

You will get a glassy-eyed grin and want to share the warmth.

But don't go to Nisargadatta if you seek anything.

With him.......you will only find your own emptiness.

Bijak of Kabir

How will you cross, Nath

how will you cross,

so full of crookedness?

Look how he meditates,

serves and prays,

Look: the white plumage,

the crane's sly ways.

Mood of a snake, look:

utterly lewd,

utterly quarrelsome,

utterly shrewd.

Look: a hawk's

face, and the thoughts

of a cat.

Schools of philosophy

like a cloak furled.

Look: the witch vanity

gulps down the world.

You just split yourself from something you call a " split mind. "

Splitting on splitting.

You are worried about diversity and dvaita being discussed.

You don't see that duality is the nondual.

More splits.

If duality is the nondual, then " black " is " white " , " red " is " orange " and

" seashore " is " desert " .

One word is not another word. Words are defined differently.

Thought you said splits don't split anything?

Words are defined by other words in a circular manner.

Obviously. That doesn't give us license to dismiss stuff by saying " words are

meaningless " though. Words are all we have in this format.

In my view -- either take words 'seriously' enough to address points on their

own merit, or don't post. But if you want to dismiss some postings instead, I

can't stop ya of course.
