I know someone from around the lists who even gets an ego boost from claiming *not* to be enlightened... he says " everyone on the lists claims to be an awakened master, and I'm the only honest one " . The only awakening that matters is one's own. Forget it all. The only awakeness that matters is awareness. The only awareness that matters is One that had no beginning. Therefore, it is wordless and unrecognized. Therefore, no religion has ever represented, no human could ever claim it. Yet, one's own being is not outside of it. With regards to humans, a great master once said, no human has this awareness, and all humans are from and of this awareness, live it and breathe it. Or maybe it wasn't a great master. I forget. LOL.
