I remember feeling that way, but wasn't it really my own emotions, projected " onto " the deer? I felt frightened. I felt lonely, I felt rage when I saw the deer. And I believed it was the deer feeling that way. I don't know what the deer felt. Maybe nothing. Maybe it was just an illusion, even. This is what is meant when the sages say " All is my Self " .
