Someone said that Buddha said, " there is

suffering but no sufferer can be found;

there is the path, but no one travels it. "

It's all hearsay, but if he said so, he

forgot to add: there is the trip,

but no destination can be found. The

trip enjoys the trip for its own sake.

Understanding this, suffering ends. It's

not a business trip. It's a holiday jaunt,

just for fun. The trip is the destination.

The trip just happens, including enjoyment (if it happens), which isn't separate

from the trip. It happens for no sake, and serves no purpose.

P: What need created your post? It wasn't

the need for silence?

P: So, you admit that you have a need to post.

What does posting do for you? Do you think that

you are helping others?

I do enjoy watching folks like you addressing themselves as if they were 'other'

('you'). It's a reminder that there's only one, and it's very interesting.

Assume = " assume form " ... of an " I " , or a " you " .

And yes, it does make an ass out of U and me ;-). Which seems to be the point,

as neither " you " nor " me " exist except in the form of an ass.

stop posting, and go to Egypt? Wake up! " You " are

not Da One. Da One is a concept " you " id with.

Is it not possible that Da One may " want to talk " ? After all it has done a

few " things " here and there....of course not all of it, but just a few

litlle stuff...scatered around...

P: No, not possible. The One is a concept. You

project that concept onto sensations, and desires

that you have. Forget about the One and stay

with your most basic sensation. The sensation of

being that you had before learning to talk. All

words distract, and it's distraction that you

seek here. Be aware of that, be honest with yourself.

Nothing wrong with talking as long as you don't fool

yourself with your talk.

that teaching about " no sufferer " or " no one there " is only useful

to the point of understanding

that existence and nonexistence have no application here

there is no continuity, but only because existence and nonexistence

aren't applicable

you are the show, the trip, whatever you want to call it

whatever you call it, it's you giving names to your namelessness

forms to your formlessness

pretending continuity

for the sake of a story

that never began

the story with a million versions

a trillion beings

D: Although there are no others, one can endlessly help the others.

Indeed, that is how the helping of others occurs.

That there are no others.

Someone helped me change my car tire.

He wasn't an other.

I wasn't an other.

That is how he was able to help me by changing my tire.

True.

Be the basic sensation that you are.

Not by critiquing yourself.

Be honest by simply being aware (being awareness, that you are).

> Nothing wrong with talking as long as you don't fool

> yourself with your talk.

Yes.

Being fooled is being attached.

Being attached means having contact.

Having contact means being able to be fooled, being able to attach, being able

to have gained or lost, done well or poorly.

someone fucked with you and slashed your tire.

he wasn't other.

you were not other.

that's how he was able to get away with it.

that's how he was able to fuck with you by slashing your tire.

that's what any good cop..or average minded kid..

would fucking tell you about your bullshit theory.

accepting either of the above is ridiculous.

but..

it's your sanctimonious pomposity that really sucks.

but also on the " up side " ....

your story line is a fun nursery tale.

it rocks your cradle.

I don't see Dan as sanctimonious or pompous, altho your perception is all good

here.

But it raises an interesting question... if I see him one way, and you see him

another, is there an " is " at all?

Or do you see yourself, and I see mine?
